Leaf Corporation has secured a tenant for the bulk of Target\u2019s former headquarters, in North Geelong.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>Target moved headquarters to Williams Landing in 2018.<\/p>\n

Barwon Health has signed up for 8-14 Thompson Road for an initial 10 years.<\/p>\n

The agreement covers 10,000 square metres.<\/p>\n

Target occupied the lot \u2013 13,233 sqm \u2013 for 40 years until 2018 when it moved to a new eight level, 13,000 square metre office in Melbourne\u2019s west Williams Landing.<\/p>\n

2600 sqm to fill<\/p>\n

Leaf paid Wesfarmers $10.6 million for the ex-Target office in early 2019.<\/p>\n

On 3.8 hectares, the property contains a gym, caf\u00e9, community garden, state of the art therapy recreation facilities and large at-grade car park.<\/p>\n

Later that year the developer and investor outlaid $3.4m for a neighbouring 9275 sqm block<\/a> (continues below).<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>Leaf has 2600 square metres to fill at the contemporary North Geelong office.<\/p>\n

At the time \u2013 before COVID \u2013 the amalgamation was earmarked for residential redevelopment.<\/p>\n

Instead in 2020 Leaf secured Gateway Support Services<\/a> to lease a part.<\/p>\n

The not for profit is still an occupier, with Cultura and NeuroRehab.<\/p>\n

Following the deal with Geelong based Barwon Health, there is 2600 sqm to fill. <\/p>\n
