Peach PRC says she is \u201cheartbroken\u201d to have no choice but to cancel her Perth show, scheduled for Saturday night.<\/p>\n

The 28-year-old pop singer, born Shaylee Curnow, posted on social media that she was forced to cancel the concert at Ice Cream Factory after falling ill.<\/p>\n

She also cancelled her Brisbane show scheduled for Thursday.<\/p>\n

\u201cI am devastated to say that I\u2019ve come down with the flu and will not be allowed to travel, therefore I can\u2019t go ahead with this week\u2019s shows \ud83d\ude41 on doctor\u2019s advice,\u201d she wrote on Instagram.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m honestly heartbroken, and I hate letting you down.\u201d<\/p>\n

However, there was some hope for Perth fans after Peach said she was looking at rescheduling the concert for when she is better and \u201cwill share an update as soon as we can\u201d.<\/p>\n

\u201cSometimes things happen outside of our control, and I want to put on a show you won\u2019t forget,\u201d she wrote.<\/p>\n

\u201cI want to give you 100 (per cent), and I promise I\u2019ll be back to see you in Brisbane soon.<\/p>\n

\u201cThank you so much for your understanding and for always supporting me.\u201d<\/p>\n

All Brisbane ticket holders will be contacted directly regarding refunds.<\/p>\n

Peach was last in Perth in 2023 where she performed a hit-and-miss gig at Astor Theatre in May.<\/p>\n

During and around the popular tracks Josh and Forever Drunk, Peach interrupted her own set with uncontrollable laughter and giggles, which disrupted her momentum and the crowd\u2019s energy.<\/p>\n

One audience member was overheard saying, \u201cThis is lame\u201d.<\/p>\n

In an Instagram post following the concert, Peach apologised to her 268,000 followers.<\/p>\n

\u201cI am so sorry, Perth, for literally losing it laughing for almost two whole songs mid-set,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n

\u201cBut there was some random guy in the crowd who could not look more displeased to be there, and he would not break eye contact.<\/p>\n

\u201cI actually just could not keep it together, I am so sorry.\u201d<\/p>\n

This also came after she momentarily broke down crying after singing Dear Inner Child \u2014 perhaps overwhelmed by the loving response from her enthusiastic fans \u2014 who gave her a run for her money outfit-wise.<\/p>\n

\u201cOnce I start crying it doesn\u2019t stop,\u201d she said wiping away tears.<\/p>\n

Her illness comes after her shows in Melbourne, Adelaide and Sydney thankfully went ahead last week and were some of her biggest Aussie shows yet.<\/p>\n

Peach is yet to make a call on whether her New Zealand shows in Wellington and Auckland are still locked in.<\/p>\n

Sweden-born, LA-based pop singer Maude Latour and Sydney artist Salty have been supporting Peach on her tour.<\/p>\n
