Jersey all-rounder Grace Wetherall says it is “amazing” to have been picked for a Women’s Europe side to play at Lord’s. <\/p>\n
The 19-year-old will play against the Marylebone Cricket Club (MCC) at the home of cricket on 17 April. <\/p>\n
The European team is made up of players from associate nations teams across the continent.<\/p>\n
“I remember getting the phone call and I just couldn’t even believe it,” she told BBC Radio Jersey.<\/p>\n
“I didn’t even know my name had been put forward so being able to have the opportunity to play at Lord’s, the home of England cricket is going to be like a unreal experience.<\/p>\n
“I’ve always dreamed of walking down the stairs into the pavilion and everything.<\/p>\n
