The undefeated Murphy is headlining the event at The O2 Arena in a featherweight title eliminator bout.<\/p>\n<p>Murphy is coming off a first-round knockout win over Aaron Pico in August. Evloev last fought in December 2024, beating Aljamain Sterling. Evloev recently resolved late visa issues to make the event. The winner of this fight is likely to get a shot at featherweight champion Alexander Volkanovski.<\/p>\n<p>Murphy&#8217;s Mental Edge<\/p>\n<p>In an interview with <a href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/SajOYQthDIk\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Cageside Press<\/a>, Lerone Murphy explained he decided to hire a mental coach to improve his performance for the upcoming fight: <\/p>\n<p>For me, having a mental coach is about getting that extra 1% out of yourself. I\u2019m strong\u2011minded anyway, I\u2019m a good fighter, but how can I get better? Can I get better? I\u2019m always trying to improve in every area possible. So it\u2019s helped.
