\nWhitman swept the doubles matches to take an early 1-0 lead. Dominik Kaminski<\/a> and Justin Boder<\/a> lost to Niklas Nordahl Jensen and Alexander Stage, 6-2, at the top spot, while Lehmitz and Lessard fell to Artem Manov and Charles Rush, 6-3, at No. 2. Sam Dilworth<\/a> and Dylan Ferraro<\/a> were downed by Hanri Luo and Guillermo Rodriguez, 6-0, at the No. 3 spot.

\nThe Tigers battled back with Lehmitz and Lessard winning at No. 2 and No. 5 singles, respectively, but Whitman captured three of the singles matches in three sets to clinch the team match.

\nLehmitz defeated Jensen, 7-6(4), 6-3, at No. 2 while Lessard downed Rush, 6-2 4-6, 1-0(8) at the No, 5 spot. However, Kaminski lost the No. 1 match, 1-6, 7-5, 1-0(8) to Stage at No. 1, Dilworth fell to Manov, 6-2, 3-6, 1-0(7) at No. 3 and Ross Cockrell<\/a> lost the No. 4 match to Rodriguez, 6-3, 2-6, 1-0(2). Luo captured a 6-3, 6-1, victory over Hudson Chris<\/a> at No. 6.
