Christina Applegate<\/a> has revealed she thinks about her death “every day” as she continues to battle multiple sclerosis<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The actress, 54, made the candid admission during an appearance on the Wild Card With Rachel Martin<\/a> podcast, saying the reality of her illness has shifted how she views the future.<\/p>\n

“It’s looming,” she said. “I mean, it looms for all of us.”<\/p>\n

“But for people who have a disease like this, you never know.”<\/p>\n

Applegate confessed that she has already purchased burial plots for herself and two others, explaining she wanted to take control of the process early.<\/p>\n

“I bought my plots already,” she said. “There’s going to be three of us there.”<\/p>\n

The Dead to Me star added she planned to have a picnic at the site, describing it as “really pretty.”<\/p>\n

“I have to pick my tree out because they’re going to plant a tree there,” she said. “I want my visitors to not be sweating.”<\/p>\n

“I’ve been thinking about this particular area of this particular place for so long. And I finally was like, ‘Is this available?'” she shared. “They’re like, ‘Yes, it is.’ I was like, ‘Oh, my God, buying it now.'”<\/p>\n

The decision, she said, was also about easing the burden on her loved ones.<\/p>\n

“Just buy it now. That way, nobody has to deal with it.”<\/p>\n

Applegate was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis in 2021<\/a>, a chronic autoimmune disease that affects the brain, spinal cord and optic nerves.<\/p>\n

In her recent memoir You With The Sad Eyes<\/a>, she described the condition as something that “eats away at all the things we take for granted”, as she continues to navigate pain, fatigue and a loss of mobility.<\/p>\n

The actress, who has previously beaten breast cancer, has been open about the toll the disease has taken, both physically and emotionally.<\/p>\n

She has shared much of her journey on the MeSsy podcast, which she co-hosts with fellow actor Jamie-Lynn Sigler, who also lives with MS.<\/p>\n

Applegate has stepped back from much of her career as her symptoms have progressed, with recent appearances showing her using a walking cane and wheelchair.<\/p>\n

She has also spoken about the emotional impact on her family, particularly her teenage daughter, Sadie<\/a>.<\/p>\n

In her memoir, she also wrote of grieving the life she once had, including being a more active, hands-on parent.<\/p>\n

Applegate wrote, “I know Sadie’s heart is broken at what has become of me.”<\/p>\n
