Ghost Rider
Ryan Gosling has teased on the Happy Sad Confused<\/a> podcast that he\u2019s had brief talks with Marvel Studios about a potential onscreen turn as Ghost Rider but it\u2019s looking shaky.<\/p>\n

He says: \u201cWe\u2019ll keep hope alive. Some discussions have been had. It\u2019s a complicated situation.\u201d Gosling first announced his interest in the role back in 2022.<\/p>\n

The End of Oak Street
David Robert Mitchell\u2019s IMAX-shot \u201cThe End of Oak Street,\u201d previously titled \u201cFlowervale Street,\u201d will release its first trailer next week ahead of the film\u2019s August 14th release.<\/p>\n

Untitled Sofia Coppola Project
\u201cPriscilla\u201d and \u201cLost in Translation\u201d filmmaker Sofia Coppola\u2019s next film, a U.S.-set period piece to star Kirsten Dunst, has been scrapped. The script was done and shooting was to take place this year, but Coppola tells Elle she\u2019s put it aside and may not make it all.<\/p>\n

She explains: \u201cIt felt too sad. It\u2019s confusing in these dark times. I want to offer some hope and beauty in the world, but then you also don\u2019t want to do something shallow, because it feels like a time for deep things.\u201d [Source: Elle<\/a>]<\/p>\n

Crimson Desert
The much-hyped \u201cCrimson Desert\u201d found itself having a rough launch this week with dropped stock price, soft critical reviews and player complaints about its controls (among other things). Now a new wrinkle has emerged \u2013 accusations about whether the game incorporates AI-generated art.<\/p>\n

Several players have shared screenshots of in-game art they suspect to be AI-generated, some theorising it is placeholder art left in for release. So far, the game\u2019s developers have not commented and there is currently no AI disclosure on its Steam Store page.
