Mizzou tennis fell 4-1 against Southeastern Conference opponent Ole Miss in Oxford, Mississippi, on March 21.\u00a0<\/p>\n
The Tigers dropped the doubles point with sophomore\u00a0Korina Roso<\/a> and freshman\u00a0Alex Ackman<\/a> falling 6-0 on court two, while freshman\u00a0Lara Quaglia<\/a> and sophomore\u00a0Zoe Lazar<\/a> fell 6-2 on court three. Sophomore\u00a0Gian Octa<\/a> and senior\u00a0Andrea Artimedi<\/a> were down 5-2 in their match when Ole Miss clinched doubles.\u00a0<\/p>\n In singles, Ackman earned a point for Missouri, winning her first set 6-1 and sealing her match in the second set, as her opponent retired. Roso was defeated 6-2, 6-2 by her No. 15-ranked singles opponent.\u00a0<\/p>\n Artimedi’s match was next to finish, as she fell 6-3, 6-2. Quaglia battled on court four, resulting in a tight 6-4, 6-4 loss that clinched the match for the Rebels.\u00a0<\/p>\n Octa was tied in her match, at a score of 3-6, 6-2, which went unfinished before the third set began.
