A Brazilian soccer star accused pop singer Chappell Roan of bringing his 11-year-old daughter to \u201ctears\u201d after the diva\u2019s security ridiculed and berated the child at a Sao Paulo hotel Saturday.<\/p>\n
Jorginho slammed the \u201cPink Pony Club\u201d crooner in a lengthy Instagram post, claiming she sent her security guard after his daughter for supposedly harassing and disrespecting her while they dined at the same hotel \u2014 a jarring confrontation that left the youngster \u201cextremely shaken.\u201d<\/p>\n
The family was staying at the hotel ahead of Roan\u2019s headlining Lollapalooza set in Brazil.<\/p>\n
\u201cI went through a very upsetting situation with my family earlier today,\u201d the defensive midfielder said, noting his excited daughter woke up early that day and made a sign for the 28-year-old \u201cHot to Go!\u201d singer.<\/p>\n
\u201cDuring breakfast, the artist walked past their table. My daughter, like any child, recognised her, got excited, and just wanted to make sure it was really her,\u201d the distraught dad continued.<\/p>\n
\u201cAnd the worst part is she didn\u2019t even approach her. She simply walked past the singer\u2019s table, looked to confirm it was her, smiled, and went back to sit with her mum. She didn\u2019t say anything, she didn\u2019t ask for anything. What happened next was completely disproportionate.\u201d<\/p>\n
Jorginho said a \u201clarge security guard\u201d stormed over and yelled at his daughter and wife for allegedly letting the child \u201cdisrespect\u201d and \u201charass\u201d others, and warned they\u2019d be reported to hotel management.<\/p>\n
He said the hostile exchange left his daughter deeply rattled and inconsolable.<\/p>\n
\u201cHonestly, I don\u2019t know at what point simply walking past a table and looking to see if someone is there can be considered harassment,\u201d the Flamengo player said.<\/p>\n
\u201cHe even said he would file a complaint against them with the hotel, while my 11-year-old daughter was sitting there in tears. I\u2019ve lived with football, public exposure, and well-known people for many years, and I understand very well what respect and boundaries are. What happened there was not that.\u201d<\/p>\n
The \u201cRed Wine Supernova\u201d is notorious for setting boundaries with her fans and paparazzi \u2013 going so far as to call their behaviour \u201cpredatory.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s sad to see this kind of treatment coming from those who should understand the importance of fans. At the end of the day, they are the ones who build all of this,\u201d he blasted, adding that the pop star would \u201cbe nothing\u201d without her fans.<\/p>\n

The unidentified child appeared to be 11-year-old Ada Law, whom Jorginho\u2019s wife, Catherine Harding, had with her movie star ex-husband, Jude Law, People reported.<\/p>\n
