Tsarukyan, who has kept himself quite active outside of the octagon while waiting for his next UFC fight, was tuning in to Saturday\u2019s headliner where Movsar Evloev picked up a majority decision win over Lerone Murphy, which potentially could earn him a title shot against Alexander Volkanovski.<\/p>\n
While Dana White didn\u2019t make any decisions on Saturday as to who is next, Tsarukyan appeared to throw himself in the hat on social media.<\/p>\n
\u201cUFC fans, is it time for me to save the featherweight division?,\u201d Tsarukyan wrote on Threads.<\/p>\n
After Evloev\u2019s win over Murphy, Tsarukyan also tweeted out that he\u2019s \u201cnext.\u201d<\/p>\n
Tsarukyan is set to face Gerogio Poullas in a freestyle wrestling rematch this Saturday at RAF 7 in Tampa after their first matchup ended in a brawl following Tsarukyan\u2019s victory via points. In his most recent octagon appearance, Tsarukyan destroyed Dan Hooker in the first round at UFC Qatar this past November.<\/p>\n
