The premise of the novel is compelling: a desperate young woman who is held hostage by a man she met online and forced to live as his pet. However, from just a short extract from the prologue there are some tell tale AI signs.

“I wear a pink dress, the kind that promises softness and delivers none. While many publishers ask authors to disclose any use of AI in their work, it’s hard to know what’s permissible.

Can a novelist ask AI for plot twist suggestions, title ideas, or use AI to help pitch books?
