\n\tPut on your wig and grab all the accessories you can find: The \u201cHannah Montana 20th Anniversary Special<\/a>\u201d is airing on Disney+ on March 24.<\/p>\n

\n\tIn the one-hour streaming special, Miley Cyrus<\/a> revisits Miley Stewart\u2019s Malibu home, reunites with some Disney Channel icons and dusts off a few hit songs from the series, which aired from 2006 to 2011.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cI didn\u2019t want to do this modern approach to Hannah. I wanted to keep it preserved,\u201d Cyrus said in her Variety cover story<\/a>. She said making the anniversary special \u201cfelt like home again.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tHere\u2019s everything we know about the \u201cHannah Montana 20th Anniversary Special.\u201d<\/p>\n

\t\tThe music\t<\/p>\n

\n\tAt a taping of the special, Cyrus embodied Hannah Montana on a stage that resembled the show\u2019s title sequence. She wore a sparkling black dress and styled her hair in blond bangs like Hannah\u2019s \u2014 no, that\u2019s not a wig!<\/p>\n

\n\tIn front of an audience of 215 people, Cyrus performed \u201cThis Is the Life,\u201d \u201cThe Climb\u201d and \u201cThe Best of Both Worlds.\u201d She also has a new, original song that will appear in the special.<\/p>\n

\n\tCyrus broke the news with Variety that fellow Disney kid and \u201cHannah Montana\u201d guest star Selena Gomez will appear in the special. \u201cCall Her Daddy\u201d host Alex Cooper, who interviews Cyrus in the telecast, arranged for Gomez to surprise Cyrus.<\/p>\n

\n\tBilly Ray Cyrus, Cyrus\u2019 real-life and TV dad who played Robby Ray Stewart on the series, reunites with Cyrus in a replica of the Stewart family living room. The two have a conversation in which they recount stories from the audition process. Cyrus\u2019 mom, Tish Cyrus, also appears in the special for a heart-to-heart with Cyrus as they revisit Hannah Montana\u2019s beloved, futuristic bedroom closet.<\/p>\n

\n\tOther \u201cHannah Montana\u201d cast members, like Emily Osment and Jason Earles, have posted about the show\u2019s 20th anniversary, but whether they will make cameos on the special has yet to be announced. And it\u2019s unclear whether other famous \u201cHannah Montana\u201d alumni \u2014 like the Jonas Brothers or Dolly Parton \u2014 will appear.<\/p>\n

\t\tThe sets\t<\/p>\n

\n\tDisney recreated the sets of the Stewart house for the 20th anniversary special, and Tish pulled out dozens of outfits, fan letters and scrapbooks that she had saved in her archives. In a trailer for the special, Cyrus is seen walking into the Stewarts\u2019 kitchen and sitting down for an interview in the living room.<\/p>\n

\n\tWhile filming the special, Cyrus was spotted by paparazzi driving in a convertible in Malibu. She confirmed to Variety that it was Cooper\u2019s idea to begin the special on an emotional note, with Cyrus driving on Pacific Coast Highway to the Hollywood soundstage.\u00a0\u201cI didn\u2019t think about the correlation between Hannah\u2019s house in Malibu and my house in Malibu,\u201d Cyrus said, \u201cand my house burning down and me rebuilding.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tCyrus also teased to Variety some of the small, nostalgic aspects of \u201cHannah Montana\u201d they made sure to incorporate into the special. She recreates the Hannah hair flip, and there is a nod to the Disney Channel \u201cwand ID\u201d commercials<\/a> (\u201cHey, I\u2019m Miley Cyrus from \u2018Hannah Montana,\u2019 and you\u2019re watching Disney Channel\u201d).
