The black comedy Honey Don\u2019t may star in-demand Hollywood actress Margaret Qualley and received a 6.5-minute standing ovation at the Cannes Film Festival last year, but there is one unlikely star who has created some chatter online.<\/p>\n
The movie, which premiered at the festival in May and is now currently streaming on BINGE<\/a>, follows small-town private investigator Honey O\u2019Donahue (Qualley) who investigates a string of strange murders connected to a religious cult headed by the sleazy Reverend Drew Devlin (played by Chris Evans). <\/p>\n Among her travels, which includes a lesbian encounter with police officer MG Falcone (Aubrey Plaza), Honey visits a bar whose owner Gary is a blast from her past. <\/p>\n If Gary looks familiar it\u2019s because he is played by Don Swayze, the younger brother of late actor Patrick Swayze \u2013 and the similarities and \u201cvery strong likeness\u201d had social media in a spin.<\/p>\n Stream Honey Don\u2019t! now on BINGE, available on Hubbl<\/a>.<\/p>\n \u201cBest part of Honey Don\u2019t was seeing Don Swayze on the big screen,\u201d one tweeted n X, as another commented, \u201cHe looks so much like Patrick!\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cDon is the mirror image of the late star,\u201d another echoed on Facebook, as one user added, \u201cI didn\u2019t know Patrick had a brother, but the moment I saw Don Swayze in the film Honey Don\u2019t by the Cohen brothers I knew there was a relation! The eyes and across his brow \u2013 is unmistakeable.\u201d<\/p>\n Don, 67, is one of the five Swayze siblings, including Bambi, Vicky and Sean. Sadly, the latter two passed away in 1994 and 2025, respectively, leaving just Don and Bambi as the surviving siblings. <\/p>\n Patrick passed away in 2009 aged 57 following a two-year battle with stage 4 pancreatic cancer.<\/p>\n Another bar scene in Honey Don\u2019t is a lot raunchier than the one featuring Don.<\/p>\n In this scene, Honey sees MG in a local bar and the pair are instantly engrossed in conversation.
