A scary incident involving a girl being pinned by a golf cart at the PGA Tour\u2019s Valspar Championship has apparently ended without serious consequences.<\/p>\n
As the group of Brooks Koepka and Danny Walker played the 15th hole in the third round at Innisbrook\u2019s Copperhead course in Palm Harbor, Florida, the girl was struck by the cart. Both Koepka and NBC on-course commentator Smylie Kaufman ducked under the ropes to check on the girl.<\/p>\n
According to Kaufman\u2019s account from the hole, the girl was separated from the cart and did not suffer any obvious injuries.<\/p>\n
\u201cI just felt terrible\u2026 From all the reports you\u2019ve got, she\u2019s OK, thankfully,\u201d Koepka said after the round. \u201cThat\u2019s all that matters, as long as she\u2019s OK. I know she\u2019s probably a little scared and I just felt for her at the time. So, it\u2019s unfortunate; it shouldn\u2019t have happened, but as long as she\u2019s OK, nothing crazy happened to her, then it will be OK.\u201d<\/p>\n
As play continued, Kaufman offered, \u201cVery scary moment .. I am sure Brooks Koepka\u2019s head is still spinning a little bit.\u201d<\/p>\n
