MLB fans attending games at Citi Field, Citizens Bank Park, Coors Field, Daikin Park, Kauffman Stadium and Oracle Park over the next few weeks will be able to take part in Aramark\u2019s new 9-9-9 Challenge \u2026 if they get to the ballpark in time.<\/p>\n

Inspired by a social media stunt that went viral last summer in which fans were attempting to drink nine beers and eat nine hot dogs in nine innings, Aramark Sports + Entertainment\u2019s offering comes with nine 4-ounce beers of the fan\u2019s choice and nine mini hot dogs, weighing in at just under a pound overall.<\/p>\n

Prices range from $50 to $65 depending on the ballpark. <\/p>\n

The Philadelphia-based company tested the concept Citizens Bank Park during the Phillies\u2019 two home playoff games stint last fall.<\/p>\n

The club sold out its 9-9-9 inventory both nights before either game started, said Alicia Woznicki, Aramark VP of design and development who oversees marketing, innovation and capital project\/master planning strategy.<\/p>\n

This season, each of Aramark\u2019s six participating ballparks (the company oversees food and beverage operations at eight MLB parks) will serve up to 300 per game, and most clubs will feature the 9-9-9 during their opening home stand, making it what Woznicki called \u201ca true \u2018limited-time, while-supplies-last\u2019 promotion.\u201d <\/p>\n

As it did during the Phillies\u2019 playoff games, Aramark has teamed up with competitive eating legend Joey Chestnut to promote the 9-9-9 Challenge.<\/p>\n

Highlighting other food offerings from Aramark, Woznicki, who grew up and still lives in Philadelphia, insists that it\u2019s not just home cookin\u2019 that makes her excited about the expansion of Aramark\u2019s cheesesteak offerings beyond the city that is known for that delicacy.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhen we started looking at the data even outside of the Greater Philadelphia area, the cheesesteak outperformed every sandwich category,\u201d she said. \u201cAfter introducing the Wit Love Philly Cheesesteak last season we saw a 30% year-over-year per-cap growth at [the Denver Broncos\u2019] Empower Field and a 98% per-cap growth at [Minnesota VIkings\u2019] U.S. Bank Stadium, compared to the previous cheesesteak menu item. It\u2019s our way of bringing a piece of Philadelphia to fans in a really delicious way!\u201d <\/p>\n

Another newcomer in 2026 is the Lobstah Poutine at Fenway Park, at $39 item that consists of fries topped with lobster from Portland, Maine<\/a>\u2019s Luke\u2019s Lobsters, clam chowder, smoked bacon, and scallions, served in a souvenir New England fisherman\u2019s boat packaging.<\/p>\n

Woznicki said that data shows that collectible souvenirs, such as the fisherman\u2019s boat, the Cooler Cup<\/a> that debuted in their NFL stadiums last fall and the returning beer bat, are driving revenue.<\/p>\n
