KENNESAW, Ga. \u2014 No. 73 Kennesaw State men’s tennis defeated Presbyterian 4-3 on Monday afternoon at Betty Siegel Courts to win its third home match in four days and eighth match in its last nine overall.<\/p>\n

The Blue Hose edged the Owls for the doubles point with wins of 7-5 on court one and 7-6 on court three. KSU then rallied back from the 0-1 deficit in doubles with four straight-set wins.<\/p>\n

Dominic Ducariu<\/a> moved to 9-2 on the season in No. 4 singles with a 67-minute 6-0, 6-1 win over Presbyterian’s Eduardo Valentin.<\/p>\n

Erik Vladimirov<\/a> gave the Owls a 2-1 lead as he won his second match in as many days with a 6-1, 6-1 defeat of Gabriel Godoy on six.<\/p>\n

The Blue Hose would secure points with wins on courts one and two, but their success proved short-lived as KSU rolled on three and five.<\/p>\n

Nathan Walters<\/a> won his sixth consecutive match and advanced to 12-2 in singles play this season with a 6-3, 6-4 win over Daksh Prasad on three.<\/p>\n

No sooner had Presbyterian taken court one than did Xavi Ferrer<\/a> quiet the visitors with a match-clinching 6-3, 6-3 win on court five. Ferrer is 9-4 in singles and now boasts five straight wins.<\/p>\n
