A real estate developer is selling his own waterfront estate in Bayview, a wealthy suburb in Sydney\u2019s Northern Beaches region.<\/p>\n

The six-bedroom property is known as Aramoana\u2014which means \u201cthe pathway to the sea\u201d in M\u0101ori\u2014and is being sold by property developer Clint Bragg, according to brokerage Ray White Northern Beaches, which brought the place to the market earlier this month.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Bragg and his wife, Helen, commissioned architect Mark Broadley of the Sydney-based Giles Tribe Architects to create the estate, which was inspired by an American lakehouse aesthetic and Bragg\u2019s New Zealand roots, the brokerage said.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Natural materials have been used throughout the place, and it has walls of windows to take in the far-reaching water views and a focus on indoor\u2013outdoor living.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cThe vision was to create a true waterfront estate\u2014timeless, grounded and rich in traditional craftsman detail,\u201d Bragg said in a prepared statement.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The price guide for the home is reportedly A$23 million to A$25 million (US$16.1 million to US$17.5 million).\u00a0<\/a><\/p>\n

Across its almost 9,700 square feet, Aramoana has towering ceilings, fireplaces, and underfloor heating. There\u2019s also a balcony capable of hosting 100 guests, a 2,500-bottle wine cellar, a high-tech golf simulator, a gym and an infrared sauna.<\/p>\n

Outside, \u201cthe grounds roll effortlessly to the pool, boathouse and picture-perfect jetty,\u201d Bragg said.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The coastal region of Northern Beaches is known for its surf culture, sandy beaches and national parks. It\u2019s also home to some of the most expensive housing markets in Australia.\u00a0<\/p>\n
