{"id":560330,"date":"2026-03-24T03:59:09","date_gmt":"2026-03-24T03:59:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/au\/560330\/"},"modified":"2026-03-24T03:59:09","modified_gmt":"2026-03-24T03:59:09","slug":"full-trailer-disneys-live-action-moana","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/au\/560330\/","title":{"rendered":"Full Trailer: Disney&#8217;s Live-Action &#8220;Moana&#8221;"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>            <a href=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/au\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/full-trailer-disneys-live-action-moana.jpg\" data-caption=\"Disney\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1200\" height=\"800\" class=\"entry-thumb td-modal-image\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/au\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/full-trailer-disneys-live-action-moana.jpg\"   alt=\"\" title=\"full-trailer-disneys-live-action-moana\"\/><\/a>Disney<\/p>\n<p>Disney Pictures has premiered the full-length trailer for their upcoming live-action remake of the 2016 animated smash hit \u201cMoana\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>17-year-old Australian actress Catherine Laga\u2019aia (\u201cThe Lost Flowers of Alice Hart\u201d) plays the title role alongside Dwayne Johnson who reprises his role as the demigod Maui<\/p>\n<p>Joining them are \u201cThe Expanse\u201d alum Frankie Adams as Moana\u2019s mother, Sina; John Tui (\u201cBattleship\u201d) as Moana\u2019s father, Chief Tui; and New Zealand acting legend Rena Owen (\u201cOnce Were Warriors\u201d) as the revered Gramma Tala.<\/p>\n<p>In Disney\u2019s live-action adaptation, Moana answers the Ocean\u2019s call and, for the first time, voyages beyond the reef of her island of Motunui with the infamous demigod Maui on an unforgettable journey to restore prosperity to her people.<\/p>\n<p>Thomas Kail directs from a script by Jared Bush and Dana Ledoux Miller.
