\n\tHannah Montana<\/a> made her way back to Hollywood on Monday night.<\/p>\n

\n\tMiley Cyrus<\/a> celebrated the \u201cHannah Montana 20th Anniversary Special\u201d with a blowout red carpet premiere at the El Capitan Theatre. Before the screening, the former Disney Channel star credited a Variety interview with planting the seeds of what would become the \u201cHannah Montana\u201d revival celebration.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cYou started all this,\u201d Cyrus told me shortly after she arrived. \u201cYou started the drama. I just kind of like, mentioned my bangs and my blonde the last time I saw you, and then this happened.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tDuring a red carpet interview in January at the Palm Springs International Film Festival, Cyrus said she was \u201cworking hard\u201d on \u201cHannah Montana\u201d anniversary plans, but wouldn\u2019t outright confirm the special was in the works. She simply said with a smile, \u201cYou see the bangs.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tWhile happily honoring her iconic popstar persona for the 20th anniversary, Cyrus said she does not have the energy to think about bringing \u201cHannah Montana\u201d back to the airwaves.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cGirl, I\u2019m already tired,\u201d Cyrus said when asked about a \u201cHannah Montana\u201d reboot. \u201cThis has already been a lot.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tAlso walking the carpet were Cyrus\u2019 mom and special co-executive producer Tish Cyrus-Purcell and her sister Brandi Cyrus. Original cast members Anna Maria Perez de Tagle, Cody Linley and Jason Earles, Mateo Arias, Mitchel Musso, Moises Arias and Shanica Knowles were also there.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cHannah Montana\u201d premiered in March 2006 on the Disney Channel and ran for four seasons before ending in 2011. Cyrus starred as Miley Stewart, a teenager who lived a double life as a famous pop star, Hannah Montana. Cyrus\u2019 father, Billy Ray Cyrus, played her dad.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe anniversary special<\/a>, which premieres on March 24 on Disney+ and Hulu, features Cyrus singing some of the series\u2019 most popular songs, an interview with Cyrus conducted by \u201cCall Me Daddy\u201d host Alex Cooper and a surprise appearance from Selena Gomez, who was a guest star on Season 2 as Hannah\u2019s pop star rival Mikayla Skeech.<\/p>\n

\n\tEarlier this year, Cyrus began teasing that a special was in the works<\/a>. However, she admitted in a recent Variety cover interview<\/a> that she wasn\u2019t exactly telling the truth. \u201cI learned this terrible habit \u2014 but I actually think it was good advice \u2014 from Dolly [Parton],\u201d she told writer Ethan Shanfeld.\u202f\u201cShe told me that if you want something to happen, promote it before it exists. Then no one can say no.\u202fSo\u202fI just started promoting a \u2018Hannah Montana\u2019 20th-anniversary special that\u202fliterally did\u202fnot exist.\u201d\u202f\u00a0<\/p>\n
