The Pakistani official said US vice-president JD Vance as well as Trump envoys Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner were expected to meet Iranian officials in Islamabad this week, after a call between Trump and Pakistan\u2019s army chief, Asim Munir.<\/p>\n<p class=\"dcr-130mj7b\">In other key developments:<\/p>\n<p class=\"dcr-130mj7b\">Trump said the threatened US strikes on Iranian power plants had been postponed after \u201cvery good and productive\u201d discussions with Iran about a \u201ccomplete and total resolution of our hostilities\u201d in the Middle East.
