Put your phone on \u201cDo Not Disturb.\u201d Write this sentence to focus on your goals: \u201cIn 30 minutes, I will finish [task]. Those tasks could include drafting an intro paragraph, outlining the body of an article, or writing 500 words of rough copy for a first draft.Minutes 3-8: Idea Ignition (Low-Pressure Warmup) &#8211; Think of this like stretching before a workout. Brain dump all your bullet points (without any structure just yet). Or rewrite your headline five different ways. Or answer this question: \u201cWhat\u2019s the most interesting angle I can go for here?\u201d Follow these rules: no deleting and no editing \u2014 just forward motion.Minutes 8-25: Deep Writing Sprint (The Core) &#8211; This is your main input window. Plus, it split up the three main pillars of my daily work duties (thinking, writing, and editing) instead of mixing them all and causing me to stall at whatever I\u2019m trying to finish.<\/p>\n<p>And finally, this routine focused more on my actual output instead of trying to achieve prevention every time and left me with obvious re-entry points for follow-up time blocks. I feel like the one ChatGPT built for me works great for anyone who works as a content creator, athlete, stage performer, educator, small business owner, etc.<\/p>\n<p>Getting back into the swing of things once you hit a wall around 2 pm is something most folks deal with \u2014 it\u2019s good to fit a routine into your life that helps you ditch that feeling of sluggishness and use those afternoon hours to flourish.<\/p>\n<p><a id=\"elk-d6153f9b-3fd7-49c8-b74a-f5bd97fb72fe\" class=\"paywall\" aria-hidden=\"true\"\/>So long mid-day slump<\/p>\n<p id=\"a50717f3-2179-4b3d-b136-656f89742418\">After adopting this 30-minute afternoon productivity routine, I realized how much it helped me keep up the same pace that I picked up for my morning work schedule.<\/p>\n<p>Thankfully, I don\u2019t have to work when it\u2019s dark out.
