The Miami Dolphins<\/a> lost two great pass rushers over the last six months, as they traded Jaelan Phillips<\/a> at the deadline and released Bradley Chubb<\/a> at the start of free agency, leaving the defensive front rather thin.<\/p>\n

So far, to fill those holes, the Dolphins<\/a> have signed a trio of veterans in free agency, including Joshua Uche<\/a>, David Ojabo<\/a> and Robert Beal Jr<\/a>. However, Miami could add a real difference maker in the 2026 NFL draft.<\/p>\n

One option for the Dolphins in the first round is Miami Hurricanes edge rusher Rueben Bain Jr., who confirmed that he’s meeting with the team for a top-30 visit on Wednesday.<\/a><\/p>\n

Bain, 21, was a four-star recruit out of Miami Central High School before committing to the University of Miami for the 2023 season. Over the last three years, he recorded 121 tackles, 20.5 sacks, four forced fumbles, two passes defensed and an interception.<\/p>\n

Most mock drafts recently have Bain going before Miami is on the clock at No. 11, but there’s a chance that he slips, and the Dolphins could create another strong duo with Bain and Chop Robinson.<\/p>\n
