Not surprisingly, Real American Freestyle (RAF) has implemented a \u201cbackup plan\u201d in case the mediocre grappler<\/a> bails on RAF07 at the eleventh hour.<\/p>\n

\u201cI do have faith he\u2019s going to show up,\u201d RAF co-founder Chad Bronstein told MMA Fighting<\/a>. \u201cAgain, I don\u2019t know Dillon personally, I work with [my partner] every single day. I know he\u2019s been communicating with him and that he will show up. He has respect. I think wrestling brings a level of respect to the sport, and they\u2019re seeing what\u2019s going on, and I think he wants to be a part of it. So I\u2019d like to believe that he\u2019s going to show up and he\u2019s going to perform and we\u2019ll see him again on the stage.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cWe always have a contingency plan in place,\u201d Bronstein added. \u201cI mean, go back to Cleveland, first event\u2026 but Izzy was talking to Holly [Holm, who] was there. It was [1 a.m.] backup plan because we lost [a competitor], we had to find a replacement, right? So we\u2019ve learned from that. We still had that backup plan, but we\u2019ve learned that we\u2019ll always have a backup plan. But I do really believe, again, if I\u2019m betting, my probability if [I\u2019m] betting, I would say it\u2019s a high likelihood Dillon will be on that stage.\u201d<\/p>\n
