{"id":564201,"date":"2026-03-25T21:50:07","date_gmt":"2026-03-25T21:50:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/au\/564201\/"},"modified":"2026-03-25T21:50:07","modified_gmt":"2026-03-25T21:50:07","slug":"pramac-identify-aggressive-direction-for-toprak-razgatlioglu","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/au\/564201\/","title":{"rendered":"Pramac identify \u2018aggressive\u2019 direction for Toprak Razgatlioglu"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Toprak Razgatlioglu\u2019s Brazilian MotoGP weekend began with the high of direct Qualifying 2 access in mixed Friday conditions but ended with a lowly 17th in the grand prix.<\/p>\n<p>The reigning WorldSBK champion cited ongoing rear grip issues with Yamaha\u2019s V4 as his main limitation, finishing 30 seconds behind race winner Marco Bezzecchi.<\/p>\n<p>However, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.crash.net\/motogp\/teams\/prima-pramac-yamaha\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Pramac<\/a> team director Gino Borsoi believes progress has been made at the front of the bike, allowing Razgatlioglu to be more aggressive on corner entry at Goiania.<\/p>\n<p>The Turkish rider will now carry that set-up direction into this weekend\u2019s round at COTA.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cFor Toprak, it will be another important step in his learning process, as he doesn\u2018t have much experience at this circuit,\u201d Borsoi said. \u201cIt will be our responsibility as a team to support him in finding the right set-up.<\/p>\n<p> Article continues below ADVERTISEMENT<\/p>\n<p> Article continues below ADVERTISEMENT<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIn Brazil, we believe we identified a first positive direction that helped him be more aggressive on corner entry and more confident in moving the bike, and we\u2018re aiming to continue working along that line.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHopefully, we can start to see the first concrete results of this progress already this weekend.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.crash.net\/wsbk\/racer\/995265\/toprak-razgatlioglu\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Razgatlioglu <\/a>confirmed: \u201cIn Brazil we found some positive direction, particularly on corner entry, and I want to build on that and keep improving.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMy goal is to keep progressing, session by session, and do my best for the team.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Razgatlioglu\u2019s only previous experience at COTA dates back to the Red Bull Rookies Cup in 2013.<\/p>\n<p> Article continues below ADVERTISEMENT<\/p>\n<p> Article continues below ADVERTISEMENT<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2018s another important weekend for me because everything is still new in MotoGP, and especially here at COTA,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI have some experience from the Rookies Cup, but riding here with a MotoGP bike is a completely different challenge.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Team-mate <a href=\"https:\/\/www.crash.net\/motogp\/racer\/1452\/jack-miller\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Jack Miller<\/a>, who crashed out on lap two in Brazil, enjoyed his best result of last season at COTA with fifth place on the previous inline Yamaha.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI really like this track, even though it\u2018s not traditionally the most favourable one for Yamaha,\u201d Miller said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2018ve always felt good riding here.
