McDonald’s<\/a> is bringing its KPop Demon Hunters meals to Australia for a limited time.<\/p>\n

The United States was first announced to be getting the meal<\/a> based off the viral Netflix film from last year, and Australia is among the next batch of countries to have it on its menus.<\/p>\n

The two meals will land around the nation<\/a> on April 1, and there will also be a new McFlurry flavour, and more than a dozen photocards of the movie’s characters to collect.<\/p>\n

Amanda Nakad, marketing director of menu and brand at the Golden Arches<\/a>, said it was amazing to bring the KPop Demon Hunters “global obsession” to Australia.<\/p>\n

“There\u2019s something in the range for everyone,” she said.<\/p>\n

What is in the McDonald’s KPop Demon Hunters meal?<\/p>\n

There are actually two meals coming to Aussie Macca’s menus from next week and they’re based off the characters in the film.<\/p>\n

In KPop Demon Hunters, the HUNTR\/X crew battled it out against the Saja Boys.<\/p>\n

In the HUNTR\/X meal, you’ll get 10 pieces of Chicken McNuggets and the limited\u2011edition Demon Sauce, along with chips, a drink, and a pack of two photocards.<\/p>\n

The sauce has been described as “mysteriously purple and instantly iconic”, but no further details have been released on what it tastes like.<\/p>\n

The Saja Boys meal will be served during breakfast hours, and will consist of a Honey Sriracha McMuffin, a hash brown, a drink, and pack of two photocards.<\/p>\n

You’ll get a choice of a Sausage & Egg, Bacon & Egg, Sausage or Mighty McMuffin.<\/p>\n

“This collaboration brings two iconic worlds together, giving fans the chance to be part of the action in a way that feels unmistakably Macca\u2019s,” Amanda said.<\/p>\n

There will also be a new McFlurry flavour based off the “derpy” tiger sidekick from the Netflix movie.<\/p>\n

It features the creamy soft serve, topped with brown sugar sauce and chewy tapioca pearls, which are typically found in boba tea.<\/p>\n

Free drive-thru offer to celebrate KPop Demon Hunters meal<\/p>\n

To celebrate the launch of the new menu offerings, Macca’s is putting on a freebie for fans in Sydney.<\/p>\n

One drive-thru location has been transformed to mimic the world set in KPop Demon Hunters.<\/p>\n

That restaurant is being kept a secret at the moment, but for those who find it, they’ll get “an immersive drive-thru experience”.<\/p>\n

The first 300 customers to go through the drive-thru will get a free meal from the new range.<\/p>\n

This will be held on Tuesday, March 31, for one-night only.<\/p>\n

McDonald’s said it will be releasing details about the location in the coming days.<\/p>\n
