New six\u2011part comedy series Bad Company starring Anne Edmonds and Kitty Flanagan will premiere in April on ABC.<\/p>\n
Created and written by Edmonds, Bad Company brings together a dream comedy pairing in a story about two fierce rivals who test each other to the limits.<\/p>\n
The ensemble cast includes Will Gibb, Cameron James, Angella Dravid, Kira Puru and Ben Pfeiffer.<\/p>\n
At the centre of the chaos is Margie Argyle (Anne Edmonds), the Argyle Theatre\u2019s wildly confident artistic director who is determined to stage her most experimental, critic\u2011wowing masterpiece yet. There\u2019s just one small problem: Margie\u2019s bold creative vision might also send the already\u2011fragile theatre hurtling towards financial ruin.<\/p>\n
Standing between Margie and catastrophe is Julia McNamara (Kitty Flanagan), a corporate high\u2011flyer with a flawless track record and the steely resolve to match. Tasked with rescuing the crumbling Argyle Theatre, Julia is determined to whip the place into shape, even if that means going head\u2011to\u2011head with Margie\u2019s chaotic genius at every turn.<\/p>\n
As tensions rise and loyalties are tested, Bad Company promises a fresh, sharp and chaotic take on life behind the curtain.<\/p>\n
