A graduate of Wesleyan University (CT) and native of Weston, Mass., Yates has previous experience interning with the New England Patriots on both their coaching and scouting staffs.<\/p>\n<p>Multiple Authors<\/p>\n<p>In the month since I did my <a href=\"https:\/\/www.espn.com.au\/nfl\/draft2026\/story\/_\/id\/47840791\/2026-nfl-mock-draft-field-yates-first-round-predictions-32-picks\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">last mock draft<\/a>, we&#8217;ve had the NFL combine, the opening of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.espn.com.au\/nfl\/nfl-free-agency\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">free agency<\/a> and a couple of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.espn.com.au\/nfl\/story\/_\/id\/47911726\/2026-nfl-free-agency-grades-signings-trades-latest-best-worst-deals-draft-outlook\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">blockbuster trades<\/a>. Most recently, the Broncos traded their first-round pick in a package to the Dolphins for wide receiver <a data-player-guid=\"db4bf6c9-e27d-8382-372f-120b3da89bd6\" href=\"https:\/\/www.espn.com\/nfl\/player\/_\/id\/4372016\/jaylen-waddle\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Jaylen Waddle<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>We still have a long road ahead, with pro days just starting up around the country. But for now, it&#8217;s safe to make some predictions for the first two rounds based on team needs, my personal rankings and what I&#8217;m hearing from people around the league. That even allows us to get into what the Broncos, Colts, Falcons, Jaguars and Packers might do early &#8212; all five teams traded away their first-round selections but will pick in Round 2.<\/p>\n<p>Let&#8217;s begin with the Raiders at No. 1. Mendoza&#8217;s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.espn.com.au\/college-football\/story\/_\/id\/47298246\/fernando-mendoza-becomes-1st-indiana-hoosier-win-heisman\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Heisman-winning<\/a> season displayed superior accuracy, arm strength, ability to scan the field, clutch production and good in-pocket mobility.<\/p>\n<p>The Raiders <a href=\"https:\/\/www.espn.com.au\/nfl\/story\/_\/id\/48154652\/sources-raiders-tyler-linderbaum-reach-3-year-81m-deal\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">worked hard<\/a> in free agency to beef up the roster around Mendoza, specifically landing the best available offensive lineman in center <a data-player-guid=\"4dc51a6c-8f23-5c8a-2559-96cec58d5a8a\" href=\"https:\/\/www.espn.com\/nfl\/player\/_\/id\/4360499\/tyler-linderbaum\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Tyler Linderbaum<\/a>. One area Mendoza will need to work on is being under center. He did that just 3% of the time in 2025; NFL teams played under center on 34.9% of snaps in 2025.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" class=\"floatleft\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/au\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/1774597576_594_nyj.png\" width=\"31\"\/><\/p>\n<p><a data-player-guid=\"e2c3077d-b7fd-3f28-b734-c46f5c97855f\" href=\"http:\/\/www.espn.com\/college-football\/player\/_\/id\/4685248\/david-bailey\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">David Bailey<\/a>, Edge, Texas Tech<\/p>\n<p>A busy <a href=\"https:\/\/www.espn.com.au\/nfl\/story\/_\/id\/48044871\/new-york-jets-2026-free-agency-tracker-offseason-moves-signings-trades\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">free agency period<\/a> has the Jets&#8217; defense in an improved place compared with the end of last season, with the team adding linebacker <a data-player-guid=\"87e9c42b-e44f-e088-fce0-cae06ba20349\" href=\"https:\/\/www.espn.com\/nfl\/player\/_\/id\/14958\/demario-davis\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Demario Davis<\/a> and two edge rushers (<a data-player-guid=\"d38a0857-9f97-e9e6-d77e-e258e2bcd943\" href=\"https:\/\/www.espn.com\/nfl\/player\/_\/id\/4362840\/kingsley-enagbare\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Kingsley Enagbare<\/a> and <a data-player-guid=\"79066c5e-ac89-2336-0b06-5471429ded52\" href=\"https:\/\/www.espn.com\/nfl\/player\/_\/id\/4362094\/joseph-ossai\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Joseph Ossai<\/a>). But New York should still draft for value at this spot.<\/p>\n<p>Bailey happens to thread the needle of taking a player with a grade commensurate with the No. 2 pick and at an area the team must continue to invest in. His 14.5 sacks in 2025 was tied for the most in the FBS, as he plays with a lightning-quick first step and an aggressive approach to pass rushing. No Jets player had over eight sacks last season.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" class=\"floatleft\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/au\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/1774597577_48_ari.png\" width=\"31\"\/><\/p>\n<p><a data-player-guid=\"1fee5fb1-9510-305d-abe2-a522d3ba5ccb\" href=\"http:\/\/www.espn.com\/college-football\/player\/_\/id\/4950400\/arvell-reese\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Arvell Reese<\/a>, Edge, Ohio State<\/p>\n<p>After Arizona <a href=\"https:\/\/www.espn.com.au\/nfl\/story\/_\/id\/48091996\/sources-cardinals-tell-kyler-murray-released-n\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">released<\/a> <a data-player-guid=\"9bef707d-d33f-266b-3020-81900d735915\" href=\"https:\/\/www.espn.com\/nfl\/player\/_\/id\/3917315\/kyler-murray\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Kyler Murray<\/a>, its offseason has signaled that drafting a quarterback is a logical outcome. But the Cardinals are not going to reach for one here. Like the Jets, the Cardinals can add to their recent front-seven investments, which include edge rusher <a data-player-guid=\"46b307c5-8de4-5c72-0afd-297fdbe85737\" href=\"https:\/\/www.espn.com\/nfl\/player\/_\/id\/3693166\/josh-sweat\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Josh Sweat<\/a> from <a href=\"https:\/\/www.espn.com.au\/nfl\/story\/_\/id\/44195132\/cardinals-boost-pass-rush-agreeing-ex-eagle-josh-sweat\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">last free agency<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Reese is a unique defensive player in this class, playing a hybrid position at Ohio State as an off-ball linebacker and pass rusher. He has massive length at 6-foot-4, explosive athletic traits and major upside if the Cardinals keep him at edge rusher. Reese <a href=\"https:\/\/www.espn.com.au\/nfl\/story\/_\/id\/48031883\/top-nfl-draft-prospect-reese-linebacker-edge\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">said at the combine<\/a> that he hasn&#8217;t &#8220;scratched the surface&#8221; as a pass rusher. He generated 19 pressures on a mere 97 pass-rush reps in 2025.<\/p>\n<p>Editor&#8217;s Picks<\/p>\n<p>2 Related<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" class=\"floatleft\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/au\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/1774597577_547_ten.png\" width=\"31\"\/><\/p>\n<p><a data-player-guid=\"34317f06-1e97-3466-9be9-3186599b2d87\" href=\"http:\/\/www.espn.com\/college-football\/player\/_\/id\/5081807\/sonny-styles\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Sonny Styles<\/a>, LB, Ohio State<\/p>\n<p>The Titans don&#8217;t have a glaring need at pass rush after <a href=\"https:\/\/www.espn.com.au\/nfl\/story\/_\/id\/48043185\/sources-jets-trade-jermaine-johnson-titans-tvondre-sweat\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">trading<\/a> for <a data-player-guid=\"205f8429-b29e-611f-4609-7f0b71f78a39\" href=\"https:\/\/www.espn.com\/nfl\/player\/_\/id\/4567962\/jermaine-johnson\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Jermaine Johnson<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.espn.com.au\/nfl\/story\/_\/id\/48154816\/titans-adding-wr-wandale-robinson-qb-mitchell-trubisky\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">signing<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.espn.com\/nfl\/player\/_\/id\/3120464\/john-franklin-myers\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">John Franklin-Myers<\/a>. But <a href=\"https:\/\/www.espn.com.au\/nfl\/story\/_\/id\/47667622\/sources-titans-finalizing-deal-make-robert-saleh-coach\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">new coach<\/a> Robert Saleh shouldn&#8217;t mind more help at linebacker behind Johnson, Franklin-Myers and defensive tackle <a data-player-guid=\"3d2c970c-ba26-bcf9-3e98-bd833dd57be6\" href=\"https:\/\/www.espn.com\/nfl\/player\/_\/id\/4035369\/jeffery-simmons\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Jeffery Simmons<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Styles has put together about as good of a final season and predraft process as you could ask for. He dominated on the field in 2025, finishing with the third-highest tackle percentage in the FBS (97.5%). Then <a href=\"https:\/\/www.espn.com.au\/nfl\/story\/_\/id\/48048520\/ohio-state-lb-styles-wows-435-inch-vertical-nfl-combine\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">at the combine<\/a>, he posted the highest vertical jump by an off-ball linebacker since 2003 (43\u00bd inches) and ran the fastest 40 at his position (4.46). Styles is instinctive and long at 6-5, with the versatility to cover or blitz as a former safety.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" class=\"floatleft\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/au\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/1774597578_411_nyg.png\" width=\"31\"\/><\/p>\n<p><a data-player-guid=\"12c8597c-e9ff-36ba-a51a-61c91d87abf7\" href=\"http:\/\/www.espn.com\/college-football\/player\/_\/id\/4870706\/caleb-downs\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Caleb Downs<\/a>, S, Ohio State<\/p>\n<p>Downs has been a dominant force longer than any other defender in this class. The former Alabama and Ohio State All-American is a shapeshifter, deploying down in the box against the run or patrolling the back end with excellent coverage range.<\/p>\n<p>The Giants made strides in their safety room over free agency, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.espn.com.au\/nfl\/story\/_\/id\/48015678\/giants-2026-free-agency-tracker-offseason-moves-signings-trades\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">adding<\/a> <a data-player-guid=\"1c4032cb-a3b3-7779-0c99-33bb4c888d6b\" href=\"https:\/\/www.espn.com\/nfl\/player\/_\/id\/4240706\/jason-pinnock\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Jason Pinnock<\/a> and <a data-player-guid=\"b203dfad-f667-eb76-3c06-47409a50c4ba\" href=\"https:\/\/www.espn.com\/nfl\/player\/_\/id\/4362492\/ardarius-washington\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Ar&#8217;Darius Washington<\/a> as help alongside <a data-player-guid=\"2cf22ebb-92ff-7bcc-8827-f5bacd2d1994\" href=\"https:\/\/www.espn.com\/nfl\/player\/_\/id\/4373809\/jevon-holland\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Jevon Holland<\/a>. But in a league where successful defenses deploy three safeties with greater frequency, what doesn&#8217;t appear as a major need for the Giants should not be dismissed. This would make Downs the highest safety drafted since Eric Berry in 2010.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" class=\"floatleft\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/au\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/1774597578_973_cle.png\" width=\"31\"\/><\/p>\n<p><a data-player-guid=\"58f8add5-078d-3663-9249-0f48f77ce044\" href=\"http:\/\/www.espn.com\/college-football\/player\/_\/id\/4871023\/carnell-tate\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Carnell Tate<\/a>, WR, Ohio State<\/p>\n<p>The Browns&#8217; most obvious needs are at wide receiver and offensive tackle &#8212; despite plenty of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.espn.com.au\/nfl\/story\/_\/id\/48179206\/how-cleveland-browns-succeeded-their-first-offseason-priority-2026-nfl-free-agency\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">new additions<\/a> &#8212; and I&#8217;ve been an advocate for considering Georgia&#8217;s <a data-player-guid=\"04146b01-ba4a-3d1c-9208-aec23febb131\" href=\"http:\/\/www.espn.com\/college-football\/player\/_\/id\/4870694\/monroe-freeling\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Monroe Freeling<\/a> here to fill the left tackle need. But Tate is rated four spots higher than Freeling in my <a href=\"https:\/\/www.espn.com.au\/nfl\/draft2026\/story\/_\/id\/47590505\/2026-nfl-draft-rankings-board-top-prospects-best-positional-field-yates\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">individual rankings<\/a>, so let&#8217;s go with the sure-handed wideout.<\/p>\n<p>Tate averaged 17.2 yards per reception in 2025 and had just one drop. He&#8217;s versatile and can stretch the field for <a href=\"https:\/\/www.espn.com.au\/nfl\/story\/_\/id\/47754909\/browns-hiring-todd-monken-new-coach\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">new coach<\/a> Todd Monken, posting 875 receiving yards and 10 touchdowns. No Browns receiver had over 650 receiving yards or two touchdowns last season.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" class=\"floatleft\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/au\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/1774597578_358_wsh.png\" width=\"31\"\/><\/p>\n<p><a data-player-guid=\"56491a70-2fa6-3f66-9731-4167ecbeb252\" href=\"http:\/\/www.espn.com\/college-football\/player\/_\/id\/4870808\/jeremiyah-love\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Jeremiyah Love<\/a>, RB, Notre Dame<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;d argue the floor of Love would be at No. 7, as this would be a home run move for the Commanders with their <a href=\"https:\/\/www.espn.com.au\/nfl\/story\/_\/id\/44195693\/sources-commanders-trade-texans-ot-laremy-tunsil\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">only pick<\/a> of the first two rounds. While the team <a href=\"https:\/\/www.espn.com.au\/nfl\/story\/_\/id\/48092511\/commanders-2026-free-agency-tracker-offseason-moves-signings-contract\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">signed<\/a> veterans <a data-player-guid=\"bcbc6499-ee45-3e7d-854a-52d76796786c\" href=\"https:\/\/www.espn.com\/nfl\/player\/_\/id\/4697815\/rachaad-white\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Rachaad White<\/a> and <a data-player-guid=\"e2f26ecf-c367-aa76-c2e2-d9321736dc38\" href=\"https:\/\/www.espn.com\/nfl\/player\/_\/id\/4372019\/jerome-ford\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Jerome Ford<\/a> in free agency, make no mistake that the RB room has more than enough room for Love. Seventh-round pick <a data-player-guid=\"7c9f28d6-5924-d767-999d-582e169a5cd3\" href=\"https:\/\/www.espn.com\/nfl\/player\/_\/id\/4575131\/jacory-croskey-merritt\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Jacory Croskey-Merritt<\/a> is Washington&#8217;s only returning RB from 2025, when he recorded 805 rushing yards (team high) and just 68 receiving yards.<\/p>\n<p>Love is the most dynamic offensive player in this class, running a 4.36-second 40-yard dash at the combine and averaging 10.4 yards per catch in 2025. He would immediately alleviate pressure on quarterback <a data-player-guid=\"f03f3238-b035-6f0e-5844-1529ca021c3a\" href=\"https:\/\/www.espn.com\/nfl\/player\/_\/id\/4426348\/jayden-daniels\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Jayden Daniels<\/a>, also adding value as a pass protector.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" class=\"floatleft\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/au\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/1774597579_650_no.png\" width=\"31\"\/><\/p>\n<p><a data-player-guid=\"7487270a-722c-39f2-9fb5-b21b75bfe614\" href=\"http:\/\/www.espn.com\/college-football\/player\/_\/id\/4870617\/rueben-bain-jr\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Rueben Bain Jr<\/a>., Edge, Miami<\/p>\n<p>Defensive end <a data-player-guid=\"cfd6d317-0d17-cb31-2766-cd6062d001e4\" href=\"https:\/\/www.espn.com\/nfl\/player\/_\/id\/13971\/cameron-jordan\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Cameron Jordan<\/a> could be out of New Orleans for the first time in his 15-year career, as he&#8217;s still a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.espn.com.au\/nfl\/story\/_\/id\/48112815\/sources-saints-sack-leader-cameron-jordan-hit-free-agency\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">free agent<\/a> despite 10.5 sacks in 2025. Regardless of whether Jordan returns, the Saints need to be mindful of adding youth to their pass-rush group.<\/p>\n<p>Bain has hands of destruction that allow him to be a forceful rusher and tenacious run defender. Some evaluators are questioning whether he has the length (30\u215e-inch arms) to win as frequently at the NFL level, but he&#8217;s a well-rounded player who had 18.5 tackles for loss and 71 pressures in 2025. Per ESPN Research, no edge rusher over the past two decades has been drafted in the first round with sub-31-inch arms.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" class=\"floatleft\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/au\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/1774597579_891_kc.png\" width=\"31\"\/><\/p>\n<p><a data-player-guid=\"378653f9-6b58-363d-a709-85e11465a73c\" href=\"http:\/\/www.espn.com\/college-football\/player\/_\/id\/4880281\/jordyn-tyson\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Jordyn Tyson<\/a>, WR, Arizona State<\/p>\n<p>The Chiefs are in desperate need of more big-play receivers, as <a data-player-guid=\"36240080-be64-3e8a-a33d-8defd9119656\" href=\"https:\/\/www.espn.com\/nfl\/player\/_\/id\/4683062\/xavier-worthy\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Xavier Worthy<\/a> hasn&#8217;t been a consistent spark plug for them the past two seasons. Tyson is the most explosive wide receiver in the draft and neck and neck with Carnell Tate for WR1 in my rankings. His catch radius is better than you&#8217;d expect for a player who is built more like a slot receiver, leading to 20 contested catches over the past two seasons.<\/p>\n<p>For the Jets, Lemon&#8217;s firepower is necessary to take some attention away from <a data-player-guid=\"da106063-995d-eaf0-54e4-ccecd5e90767\" href=\"https:\/\/www.espn.com\/nfl\/player\/_\/id\/4569618\/garrett-wilson\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Garrett Wilson<\/a>. At the combine, he posted a 4.39-second 40-yard dash (tight end record), 43\u00bd-inch vertical jump and 11-foot-1 broad jump.<\/p>\n<p>Sadiq would add an element of explosive run-after-catch ability for Carolina, which needs another dynamic option next to wide receiver <a data-player-guid=\"5b060a16-d491-3595-b199-6ba05b4d9391\" href=\"https:\/\/www.espn.com\/nfl\/player\/_\/id\/4685472\/tetairoa-mcmillan\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Tetairoa McMillan<\/a>. Sadiq had to bide his time at Oregon playing behind current Rams tight end <a data-player-guid=\"897a7b37-1f13-3f52-b2ed-a45faef85eb1\" href=\"https:\/\/www.espn.com\/nfl\/player\/_\/id\/4570037\/terrance-ferguson\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Terrance Ferguson<\/a>, but he led all FBS tight ends in receiving touchdowns in 2025 (eight). Thomas dealt with an injury for part of the 2025 season, but he still finished with 6.5 sacks and 23 pressures in nine games.<\/p>\n<p>The Cowboys must keep hammering away at their pass rush to find some semblance of what they had with <a data-player-guid=\"19e0d5a6-9c4e-83d1-c9c2-5cfa322727f5\" href=\"https:\/\/www.espn.com\/nfl\/player\/_\/id\/4361423\/micah-parsons\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Micah Parsons<\/a>. A defensive line coach will see the potential to develop Faulk into a much more consistent rusher, as he won&#8217;t turn 21 until September.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" class=\"floatleft\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/au\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/1774597588_692_hou.png\" width=\"31\"\/><\/p>\n<p><a data-player-guid=\"6aaeb95b-3635-3dbf-9f32-0e7c1a4736eb\" href=\"http:\/\/www.espn.com\/college-football\/player\/_\/id\/4871063\/peter-woods\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Peter Woods<\/a>, DT, Clemson<\/p>\n<p>Woods might have the biggest range of the prospects we&#8217;ve discussed so far. His ardent believers feel he could go in the top 15, while skeptics don&#8217;t see him as a first-round talent.<\/p>\n<p>Woods is an explosive but undersized defensive tackle whose production left a lot to be desired with just 5.0 sacks in the past two seasons. The right scheme would allow him to take his disruptive first step into opposing backfields frequently. While the former was traded this offseason (to land this pick), the latter needs some help on the edge.<\/p>\n<p>Howell was the SEC Defensive Player of the Year after racking up 11.5 sacks in 2025, displaying an excellent first step, ability to bend the edge and closing speed. He lacks the optimal length for an edge rusher with just 30\u00bc-inch arms, but that is offset by his ability to get underneath and around offensive tackles.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" class=\"floatleft\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/au\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/1774597580_355_mia.png\" width=\"31\"\/><\/p>\n<p><a data-player-guid=\"0385d73f-aa41-3619-868a-98942554ba97\" href=\"http:\/\/www.espn.com\/college-football\/player\/_\/id\/4870653\/kc-concepcion\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">KC Concepcion<\/a>, WR, Texas A&amp;M <\/p>\n<p>Following the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.espn.com.au\/nfl\/story\/_\/id\/47947892\/sources-dolphins-release-8-pro-bowl-wr-tyreek-hill\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">release<\/a> of <a data-player-guid=\"a3ef592c-a48e-d761-be9c-b81819cfe0ea\" href=\"https:\/\/www.espn.com\/nfl\/player\/_\/id\/3116406\/tyreek-hill\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Tyreek Hill<\/a> and trade of <a data-player-guid=\"db4bf6c9-e27d-8382-372f-120b3da89bd6\" href=\"https:\/\/www.espn.com\/nfl\/player\/_\/id\/4372016\/jaylen-waddle\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Jaylen Waddle<\/a>, Miami&#8217;s wide receivers group is inarguably the thinnest in the NFL. Adding Concepcion would be a step in the right direction. He&#8217;s among the most explosive players in the class, hauling in 25 receiving touchdowns in just three seasons and taking two punt returns to the house in 2025. He is a smooth-moving, versatile wideout who could make splash plays with quarterback <a data-player-guid=\"2fbd2f9e-624d-3e63-9bb5-9bb965782b68\" href=\"https:\/\/www.espn.com\/nfl\/player\/_\/id\/4431452\/drake-maye\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Drake Maye<\/a>. Thompson ran the fastest 40-yard dash at the combine (4.26 seconds) and led the SEC in receiving yards this past season (1,054). He can consistently get separation downfield, which will translate well to the next level.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" class=\"floatleft\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/au\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/1774597584_566_phi.png\" width=\"31\"\/><\/p>\n<p><a data-player-guid=\"3e1f3842-5489-30aa-81eb-8b67e1aa2019\" href=\"http:\/\/www.espn.com\/college-football\/player\/_\/id\/4431258\/gennings-dunker\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Gennings Dunker<\/a>, OL, Iowa<\/p>\n<p>The Eagles can clearly line up with five starting offensive linemen right now and be in good shape, but few teams approach the draft with a longer lens than Philly under general manager Howie Roseman. Dunker has college experience at right tackle (predominantly) and both guard spots; he surrendered zero sacks in 2025. There is not a team in the NFL with adequate offensive line depth, so adding to this room is important.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" class=\"floatleft\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/au\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/1774597583_31_lac.png\" width=\"31\"\/><\/p>\n<p><a data-player-guid=\"eff7bf27-c2af-30f8-b68e-efa2c95e9d75\" href=\"http:\/\/www.espn.com\/college-football\/player\/_\/id\/4608929\/emmanuel-pregnon\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Emmanuel Pregnon<\/a>, G, Oregon<\/p>\n<p>While the Chargers&#8217; offense will look different under <a href=\"https:\/\/www.espn.com.au\/nfl\/story\/_\/id\/47735344\/chargers-officially-hire-mike-mcdaniel-offensive-coordinator\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">new coordinator<\/a> Mike McDaniel, coach Jim Harbaugh will always have an affinity for big, powerful linemen. Pregnon certainly fits that bill at 314 pounds with an 82\u215e-inch wingspan. He forced defensive players into business decisions during stops at Idaho, USC and Oregon. The Chargers&#8217; need for interior O-line help is <a href=\"https:\/\/www.espn.com.au\/nfl\/story\/_\/id\/47450321\/los-angeles-chargers-offensive-line-struggles-playoffs\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">well-documented<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" class=\"floatleft\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/au\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/1774597597_186_jax.png\" width=\"31\"\/><\/p>\n<p><a data-player-guid=\"614507c8-ce5e-39a9-80dc-f280c62a3a7b\" href=\"http:\/\/www.espn.com\/college-football\/player\/_\/id\/4911904\/keyron-crawford\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Keyron Crawford<\/a>, Edge, Auburn<\/p>\n<p>Jacksonville can use its first selection of the 2026 draft on pass-rushing depth, as Crawford brings some serious juice. He played just one year of high school football before joining Arkansas State, so he is still coming into his own as a player. Crawford is electric turning the corner on offensive tackles and was more impactful than Keldric Faulk for Auburn in 2025.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" class=\"floatleft\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/au\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/1774597586_248_chi.png\" width=\"31\"\/><\/p>\n<p><a data-player-guid=\"abc2a40f-e66c-34b4-b2cd-50794b39d122\" href=\"http:\/\/www.espn.com\/college-football\/player\/_\/id\/4566094\/jacob-rodriguez\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Jacob Rodriguez<\/a>, LB, Texas Tech<\/p>\n<p>Chicago&#8217;s defensive overhaul this offseason included the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.espn.com.au\/nfl\/story\/_\/id\/48117116\/bears-release-veteran-linebacker-tremaine-edmunds\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">release<\/a> of <a data-player-guid=\"68afef68-178d-4558-d94f-4c2b6ac7b013\" href=\"https:\/\/www.espn.com\/nfl\/player\/_\/id\/3929950\/tremaine-edmunds\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Tremaine Edmunds<\/a> and an overall focus on getting faster. Rodriguez would help with the latter in Edmunds&#8217; place. Making him an even better fit is that he&#8217;s the best ball disrupter in the class; he forced an astonishing seven fumbles and had four interceptions in 2025. Bernard is a buttery smooth route runner with excellent instincts against all types of coverage. He&#8217;s steady after the catch and would have a chance to thrive under coach Kyle Shanahan.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" class=\"floatleft\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/au\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/1774597588_692_hou.png\" width=\"31\"\/><\/p>\n<p><a data-player-guid=\"19eae7f1-ffc6-38f8-b736-66c9e98d1255\" href=\"http:\/\/www.espn.com\/college-football\/player\/_\/id\/4880273\/kyle-louis\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Kyle Louis<\/a>, LB, Pittsburgh<\/p>\n<p>One of the things I admire about the Texans&#8217; organization is their ability to maximize defensive players, regardless of any supposed limitations they might have. Louis is an unconventional-sized linebacker at 6 feet and 220 pounds, but he has incredible playmaking ability, coverage instincts and physicality that will travel to the NFL. Some teams will evaluate him as a strong safety, but no matter his listed position on the roster, he&#8217;ll carve out an important role.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" class=\"floatleft\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/au\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/1774597586_248_chi.png\" width=\"31\"\/><\/p>\n<p><a data-player-guid=\"e2f79a16-7196-3415-9471-1a3a4e67e4eb\" href=\"http:\/\/www.espn.com\/college-football\/player\/_\/id\/4697757\/treydan-stukes\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Treydan Stukes<\/a>, CB\/S, Arizona<\/p>\n<p>Stukes is a hybrid player who can effectively impact the running game (28 tackles on designed rushes in 2025) and produce in coverage (four INTs). He&#8217;s an older prospect at age 26, but he&#8217;d be a useful addition to a Chicago safety room that lost <a data-player-guid=\"c50eb210-156c-8797-f486-3ff7c1655b26\" href=\"https:\/\/www.espn.com\/nfl\/player\/_\/id\/2574056\/kevin-byard\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Kevin Byard III<\/a> and <a data-player-guid=\"036fd1d7-80a7-613d-5f86-981407de3d6d\" href=\"https:\/\/www.espn.com\/nfl\/player\/_\/id\/4570044\/jaquan-brisker\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Jaquan Brisker<\/a> in free agency.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" class=\"floatleft\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/au\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/1774597581_635_lar.png\" width=\"31\"\/><\/p>\n<p><a data-player-guid=\"d7162f29-5582-3f8e-9288-2f052970127e\" href=\"http:\/\/www.espn.com\/college-football\/player\/_\/id\/4869961\/chris-bell\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Chris Bell<\/a>, WR, Louisville<\/p>\n<p>Bell has the skill to be gone long before this pick, but he&#8217;s still recovering from an <a href=\"https:\/\/www.espn.com.au\/college-football\/story\/_\/id\/47272186\/sources-louisville-chris-bell-set-surgery-acl-tear\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">ACL tear<\/a> this past November. The Rams have an enviable starting receiver duo in <a data-player-guid=\"05861488-1bb7-7c32-83eb-d0658a6e2b89\" href=\"https:\/\/www.espn.com\/nfl\/player\/_\/id\/4426515\/puka-nacua\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Puka Nacua<\/a> and <a data-player-guid=\"d287bc03-47c2-c7f6-6160-e4280c80d2e2\" href=\"https:\/\/www.espn.com\/nfl\/player\/_\/id\/16800\/davante-adams\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Davante Adams<\/a>, which would ease the early burden on Bell. The 6-2 222-pounder is extremely explosive in the open field and could provide depth behind both stars.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" class=\"floatleft\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/au\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/1774597597_214_den.png\" width=\"31\"\/><\/p>\n<p><a data-player-guid=\"5d9f286a-2b13-3afc-9c5f-1d35d1160d90\" href=\"http:\/\/www.espn.com\/college-football\/player\/_\/id\/4870998\/josiah-trotter\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Josiah Trotter<\/a>, LB, Missouri<\/p>\n<p>Denver made its big splash to add Jaylen Waddle, a move that was logical in part because the roster has so few limitations. Inside linebacker is an area to continue to add at after <a data-player-guid=\"22bed4b5-a5ad-ccac-e96e-4ba5bd7d1173\" href=\"https:\/\/www.espn.com\/nfl\/player\/_\/id\/3916903\/dre-greenlaw\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Dre Greenlaw<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.espn.com.au\/nfl\/story\/_\/id\/48187169\/sources-dre-greenlaw-back-49ers-year-broncos\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">couldn&#8217;t provide<\/a> a boost this past season. Trotter is one of my favorite fits in this round. He&#8217;s an extremely explosive player whose heavy hands knock offensive tackles back, but he could still develop more of a rush plan and pick up some of the nuances of the edge position. New England needs real juice off the edge after just 35 sacks in 2025 (tied for 22nd in the league).<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" class=\"floatleft\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/au\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/1774597588_574_sea.png\" width=\"31\"\/><\/p>\n<p><a data-player-guid=\"705bfe8e-8678-32bc-a5b8-535fcca2e1cd\" href=\"http:\/\/www.espn.com\/college-football\/player\/_\/id\/4685512\/jadarian-price\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Jadarian Price<\/a>, RB, Notre Dame<\/p>\n<p>This would be a fortuitous twist for the champs, as Price is the 43rd player on my board and slides only because teams attacked more premium positions. An excellent complement to Jeremiyah Love, Price is a physical and fast runner who can also make plays in the return game. While he had just six catches in 2025, he could grow into a better passing option with more exposure.
