Late-night hosts mocked the Republican party\u2019s inaugural \u201cAmerica First\u201d award for Donald Trump<\/a> as he finally reveals the \u201cpresent\u201d he received from Iran<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Jimmy Kimmel<\/p>\n

Jimmy Kimmel<\/a> had a field day with the Republican National Committee\u2019s inaugural \u201cAmerica First\u201d award, presented<\/a> to Trump on Wednesday by Mike Johnson<\/a>, the House speaker, who described the prize as \u201cappropriate for the new golden era in America\u201d.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

\u201cI can\u2019t figure out who should be more embarrassed: the guy who came up with the new award, or the guy who proudly accepted the new award,\u201d Kimmel laughed.<\/p>\n

\u201cWatch Mike Johnson<\/a> here,\u201d he added before a clip of the lawmaker\u2019s speech. \u201cYou can almost feel his spine exiting his body.\u201d<\/p>\n

Johnson declared the president a \u201csuitable and fitting\u201d recipient for the \u201cAmerica First\u201d award \u2013 \u201cwe could think of no better title for what that is.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cDid you try?\u201d Kimmel wondered. \u201cBecause I can come up with some. How about the Lies-man Trophy? That would be a better name.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cBut the squeaker of the House is correct: there can be no more deserving winner of this fictitious distinction you created specifically to tongue-bathe his undercarriage than Donald Trump<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cMy favorite part, when they give Trump these awards, is when he comes out with a look of surprise on his face,\u201d he added. \u201cAnd the saddest part is, he seems to be genuinely honored by these imaginary accolades.<\/p>\n

\u201cLook at him, how happy he is,\u201d he said after another clip of Trump standing beside Johnson on stage. \u201cAll the grace and elegance of a gorilla at a wedding.\u201d<\/p>\n

The statuette for the inaugural America First award \u201cin recognition of our president\u2019s extraordinary need to win things every single day\u201d is a golden eagle. \u201cThat is going on the mantle right next to his regifted<\/a> Nobel peace prize, the Olympic gold medal he didn\u2019t win<\/a>, and the three tournament championships he \u2018won<\/a>\u2019 at his own golf club,\u201d Kimmel noted. \u201cAre we sure he\u2019s building a ballroom<\/a> with that money and not a $900m trophy case?\u201d<\/p>\n

Seth Meyers<\/p>\n

On Late Night, Seth Meyers<\/a> checked in on Trump\u2019s war in Iran<\/a>. \u201cNow Trump wants<\/a> a speedy end to the war he started, but he can\u2019t figure out how to achieve that,\u201d he said. \u201cHe won\u2019t even say<\/a> who he\u2019s negotiating with. And Iran says they\u2019re not negotiating directly with us, which is why Trump ends up saying weird, vague stuff,\u201d like that he received a \u201cpresent worth a tremendous amount of money. And I\u2019m not going to tell you what that present is, but it\u2019s a very significant prize.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cBut today, Trump revealed what the present was,\u201d said Meyers. \u201cAnd you guys, it\u2019s something really rare and special \u2013 I\u2019m just kidding, it\u2019s oil.\u201d<\/p>\n

Specifically, according to Trump, it\u2019s \u201ceight big boats<\/a>\u201d of oil to prove that \u201cthey\u2019re real and solid and we\u2019re there.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cOK, so to show us that they\u2019re real and that they\u2019re solid and that they\u2019re there, could you tell us their name?\u201d Meyers wondered.<\/p>\n

\u201cAlso, they\u2019re not letting us have free oil,\u201d he noted. \u201cThey\u2019re letting oil tankers pass through a strait that they were already allowed to pass through before you started this war. Seriously, is there anything else you can say that we got out of this otherwise pointless war besides eight oil boats?\u201d<\/p>\n

According to Trump, there\u2019s \u201ctwo more boats\u201d, for a total of 10 boats.<\/p>\n

\u201cOK, so this is clearly some teenagers who got Trump\u2019s number,\u201d said Meyers. \u201cSo master negotiator Donald Trump is bragging about a few boats of oil during a pointless and unpopular war he started that has sent gas prices for Americans soaring, which of course means Republicans<\/a> are giving him a special award.\u201d<\/p>\n

That would be the America First award, complete with a soaring eagle trophy. \u201cHow many fake trophies that were made specifically for him does is this guy gonna get?\u201d Meyers asked. \u201cFirst the Fifa peace prize<\/a>, now the America First award, and he\u2019s neither America first nor pro-peace. He\u2019s getting a participation trophy for something he didn\u2019t even participate in.<\/p>\n

\u201cThese guys are so out of touch, they\u2019re giving Trump a special, made-up award while Americans struggle with soaring prices<\/a> caused by a war they overwhelmingly disapprove of.\u201d<\/p>\n

And on the Daily Show, Josh Johnson recapped yet another disturbing story involving Robert F Kennedy, Jr, Trump\u2019s health secretary and \u201calso the man who looks like last year\u2019s Halloween pumpkin you forgot to throw out\u201d.<\/p>\n

\u201cIf you questioned his judgment after those stories came out about him taking home dead whales<\/a> and dead bears<\/a>, I have great news: there\u2019s a new animal you can add to the list!\u201d said Johnson. Because this week, the New York Post reported<\/a> that in a 2001 diary entry, Kennedy wrote about cutting off the penis of a roadkilled raccoon so that he could examine it later, while his kids waited patiently in the car.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhat is wrong with this man?\u201d Johnson exclaimed. \u201cHe cut off a raccoon\u2019s penis and saved it for later like some kind of raccoon dick Push Pop? And I know he put it right in his jeans pocket too, didn\u2019t even wrap it in a tissue or anything.<\/p>\n

\u201cEvery time I hear about one of these RFK stories, they always mention that his kids were \u2018waiting patiently\u2019, which shows that RFK just doesn\u2019t know the difference between patience and horror,\u201d he added. \u201cI\u2019m sure all the hostages in a bank robbery are \u2018waiting patiently\u2019 to go home.<\/p>\n
