A section of the Western Highway is closed after an accident involving two B-double trucks north of Horsham.<\/p>\n
Large plumes of thick, black smoke were visible in western Victoria this morning after the accident.<\/p>\n
Authorities said they responded to multiple reports of a collision between the vehicles at 7:20am at Dimboola.<\/p>\n
Both trucks caught fire as a result of the collision, including all four trailers.<\/p>\n
An Ambulance Victoria spokesperson said one of the drivers was treated for upper body injuries and was taken to Horsham hospital in a stable condition, while the other was not injured.<\/p>\n

Victoria Police said drivers could expect significant delays in the area.<\/p>\n
They said officers would investigate the cause of the accident.<\/p>\n
Anyone with dash-cam footage or who may have witnessed the incident is urged to contact Crime Stoppers.<\/p>\n
The Western Highway remains closed in both directions between the Borung Highway and Dimboola-Rainbow Road.<\/p>\n

“I darted around to see what I could do, but the truck was engulfed in flames,” Mr Jones said.<\/p>\n
“There were a few explosions after that, about three or four smaller ones.”<\/p>\n
