Bulldogs<\/a> star Connor Tracey<\/a> looks set to re-sign with the club on a fresh two-year deal.<\/p>\n

According to The Sydney Morning Herald<\/a>, the fullback is tipped to extend his time at Canterbury until the end of 2028 after a meeting with Phil Gould<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Tracey sat down with Gould during the week for a Chinese meal at Canterbury Leagues Club and the club are expected to announce his extension soon.<\/p>\n

The 29-year-old has overcome a horror injury history during his time with South Sydney and Cronulla to become a mainstay at fullback for the Dogs.<\/p>\n

Since arriving two years ago, Tracey has played 49 games in the blue and white jersey, becoming one of Cameron Ciraldo<\/a>‘s most reliable and consistent players.<\/p>\n

He had been linked as a possible Perth Bears signing ahead of their inaugural 2027 season, but has opted to remain loyal and stay at Belmore.<\/p>\n

Tracey has been brilliant at the back for Canterbury in the first three games, averaging 230 run metres per game and breaking 10 tackles.<\/p>\n

His performance in round three against the Canberra Raiders earned him enormous praise, scoring a try before stopping another with a try-saving tackle on Ethan Sanders.<\/p>\n
