Britain’s Got Talent<\/a> presenters Ant and Dec were forced to intervene and ‘change the rules’ after one contestant’s future remained uncertain.<\/p>\n

During Saturday’s (March 28) instalment of the ITV<\/a> talent programme, judges Simon Cowell, Alesha Dixon, Amanda Holden<\/a> and KSI returned to our screens as they hunted for the next breakthrough performer.<\/p>\n

It’s hardly surprising that they pulled out all the stops in an attempt to wow the panel and secure the \u00a3250,000 prize money along with a place at the Royal Variety Performance.<\/a><\/p>\n

Yet it was one act that caused quite a stir. Kevin Hogg, recognised as a dance icon and Gateshead’s very own MC Tazo, appeared on stage and tried to charm everyone with his MC abilities.<\/p>\n

While his wife and two children, Tyler and Riley, observed from the audience, he encouraged everyone present to stand up and dance as he MC’d his way through an original number all about Britain’s Got Talent, reports Belfast live.<\/a><\/p>\n

KSI was evidently a huge fan as the musician and YouTuber danced along and labelled Tazo’s track a “banger”. Fellow judge Simon also appreciated the performance and awarded him a ‘yes’.<\/p>\n

Nevertheless Amanda and Alesha weren’t convinced and ultimately they remained unimpressed and voted ‘no’. It appeared that Tazo was leaving as he required three ‘yesses’ from the judges to move to the following round.<\/p>\n

However Geordie presenters Ant and Dec weren’t prepared to allow that outcome as they intervened to ‘changed the rules’ and put him through to the next stage.<\/p>\n

Stepping onto the stage, Ant asked: “Can we just give a ‘yes’ then that will be three ‘yesses’?” As the audience applauded, Simon responded: “OK right, I changed the rules.” Gesturing towards KSI he clarified: “Two ‘yesses’, four ‘yesses’, he is through.”<\/p>\n

It comes as elsewhere viewers were left baffled following Simon’s surprising response to one act, insisting “he’s lost the plot”.<\/p>\n

Musical group Arubai from Japan appeared on stage and reimagined one of Queen’s most iconic hits into a style previously unheard on the BGT platform. They delivered Don’t Stop Me Now as a Japanese punk number.<\/p>\n

Simon was the only judge to say ‘yes’ and that instance didn’t escape fans’ attention as they immediately took to social media to express their views.<\/p>\n

One fan posted on X: “wtf has happened to Simon he’s lost the plot #bgt.” Another queried: “Simon liked it.? #BGT #BritainsGotTalent.”<\/p>\n
