But he realized on that drive home on March 21 that he wanted to commit to the program, and that led to a string of separate conversations with key Badgers staff Tuesday.

“So what I did was I called four coaches, kind of to surprise them, and then I was going to surprise the staff on the day I committed,” Reiter said. “So I called coach (Luke) Fickell, coach (Eric) Mateos, (assistant offensive line) coach Casey Rabach and (director of recruiting) Pat Lambert.

“I called them, and it was really cool. I all kind of texted them, ‘You got time for a call?’ So I don’t know what they were expecting. When I told them the news, they were super pumped.”

New Wisconsin offensive line commit Cole Reiter, middle, speaks with 2027 tight end commit Korz Loken, right middle,…

[563
64,63,596,85
post-572078","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","category-football","tag-au","tag-australia","tag-football","tag-sports
["GET
