WEYMOUTH, Mass. \u2013 The Boston College men’s tennis team (4-12, 0-10 ACC) fell 4-0 to Notre Dame (19-4, 8-2 ACC) on Sunday afternoon at the Weymouth Club.

\nThe Fighting Irish started strong taking the doubles point with wins in doubles No. 2 and No. 1. Lukas Rais<\/a> and Luke Levanat’s<\/a> match remained unfinished at 2-4.
\n\u00a0
\nNotre Dame sealed the match with three straight-set singles victories. At the time of the clinch, there were three matches that remained unfinished. Mai Gao<\/a> posted a 6-4 first set victory against his opponent before leaving the next set unfinished at 2-3. Matthew Overvelde<\/a> fought hard during a tight first set, narrowly dropping it 7-5 before taking the lead, 3-1, in the next set before the match stopped. Aidan Pack<\/a> dropped his first set but tied up the second, 4-4, before the match remained unfinished.

\nThe Eagles celebrated senior day on Sunday, honoring three Eagles: Aidan Pack<\/a>, James Cockrell<\/a> and Mai Gao<\/a>.
