For a man, it&#8217;s to raise children, take care of the family, take care of loved ones.<\/p>\n<p>There are very few women who take on big responsibilities. It&#8217;s very hard for\u2026 <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/9r4uRw6dOr\" rel=\"nofollow\">pic.twitter.com\/9r4uRw6dOr<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Championship Rounds (@ChampRDS) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/ChampRDS\/status\/2037310865666437211?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">March 26, 2026<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Shevchenko responded to Nurmagomedov\u2019s comments in a series of lengthy posts on her <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/BulletValentina\/status\/2037788574536605900\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">X account<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWomen are weak?!\u201d Shevchenko wrote. \u201cTell that to my sister\u2014an airline captain. Or tell it to the \u201dNight Witches\u201d the all-female bomber regiment of World War II, who dropped bombs under the cover of darkness with their engines off, then landed in pitch blackness without landing lights. For this, they earned a reputation for being elusive and deadly. Go ahead, tell them who is stronger.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt all depends entirely on one\u2019s upbringing. You can just as easily raise a man to be a helpless milksop who is incapable of doing anything. Martial arts represent a warrior tradition where there is no distinction between man and woman. There is only the art itself. That is precisely why people train: To become more graceful, stronger, and wiser\u2014and to ensure that no one ever gets the chance to punch them in the face.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>For years, Dana White opposed the idea of holding female fights under the UFC banner. That changed when Ronda Rousey\u2019s popularity soared. The first women\u2019s UFC fight was held on Feb. 23, 2013.<\/p>\n<p>Currently, there are three female UFC titles. There was a fourth with the UFC women\u2019s featherweight division, but it has been defunct since 2023.
