(Cindy Ord\/Getty Images)<\/p>\n<p>Joni Mitchell received the Lifetime Achievement Award, only the third recipient in Juno history.The Beaches made history as the first all-women band to win group of the year three years in a row.Nelly Furtado was inducted into the Canadian Music Hall of Fame, in a tribute from numerous artists, including Lido Pimienta, Tanya Tagaq, Kardinal Offishall and a video appearance from Drake.Bbno$ took home the TD Juno Fan Choice award for a second year in a row.Daniel Caesar picked up two awards Sunday night for a total of three over the weekend.Rush kicked off the show with a historic performance: it&#8217;s the first time the group has played publicly with new drummer Anika Nilles since the death of Neil Peart in 2020.Winners at last night&#8217;s Juno Awards Gala \u2014 the industry awards that take place the night before the Junos \u2014 included Tate McRae, who won four awards, Daniel Caesar, the Beaches, Aysanabee and Sadboi, among others.<\/p>\n<p class=\"headline-BQ9Mc\">Rush opens the Juno Awards with a surprise performance<\/p>\n<p class=\"headline-BQ9Mc\">Cameron Whitcomb on 2026 Junos country album of the year win<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Joni Mitchell accepts the Lifetime Achievement award onstage during the 2026 Juno Awards.
