From Max Verstappen<\/a> being poised to miss a tyre test in Suzuka to Lewis Hamilton<\/a> facing struggles at the Japanese Grand Prix<\/a>, we bring you up to speed with the latest happenings in F1<\/a> on our daily round up.Verstappen will not participate in the two-day Pirelli tyre test for the Red Bull Racing<\/a> outfit. At Suzuka, Racing Bulls<\/a>, also set to hit the track. Both Liam Lawson<\/a> and Arvid Lindblad<\/a> will take to the track for the Faenza-based team on the two test days, respectively.<\/p>\n

The four-time world champion, who endured a challenging outing at the Grand Prix in Suzuka, left the country in the early hours of Monday to return home to Monaco.<\/p>\n

While Verstappen is certain not to participate in the tyre test, Scuderia Ferrari team principal Frederic Vasseur<\/a> has highlighted the reason behind the pace deficit Hamilton experienced at the Japanese Grand Prix.<\/p>\n

The Ferrari team boss, who addressed the media following the conclusion of the Suzuka race, noted how the lack of overtake mode contributed to the performance deficit the Brit experienced.<\/p>\n

Hamilton endured a race of contrasting halves; while he kept up with the front runners for much of the first stint, he struggled to match their pace after his pit stop.<\/p>\n
