A couple weeks after that, I\u2019ll be back to sparring. Mommy, soon come.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1nfb3k4i _16w9vov1 _16w9vov0 ls9zuh1\">That timeline suggests a gradual ramp-up, but still leaves some uncertainty.<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1nfb3k4i _16w9vov1 _16w9vov0 ls9zuh1\">\u201cObviously, a piece of me is bummed that I\u2019m not on it, that was my goal,\u201d Harrison said. \u201cI don\u2019t know [if I would have headlined], that stuff doesn\u2019t matter to me. I get paid the same whether I\u2019m the first on the card or last.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1nfb3k4i _16w9vov1 _16w9vov0 ls9zuh1\">While no official return date has been set, a realistic target could be early fall \u2014 potentially September \u2014 depending on how her recovery progresses in the coming weeks.<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1nfb3k4i _16w9vov1 _16w9vov0 ls9zuh1\">And when she does return, one name looms large: Amanda Nunes, and that long-awaited showdown may finally be back on track.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Kayla Harrison may not be out for much longer.
