The Arizona Cardinals<\/a> have done some work this offseason in free agency, but have not improved their roster much. At most positions, they could and probably should add players in the NFL draft.<\/p>\n

But looking at each position, where in the draft should they be looking? While teams always want to stick to their draft board, sometimes it just doesn’t make sense to draft a position early.<\/p>\n

We will look at each position group and determine what need level the Cardinals have \u2014 is it in Round 1? Is it on Day 2? What about Day 3?<\/p>\n

Let’s look at the defensive line.<\/p>\n

Cardinals draft need level: Defensive line<\/p>\n

The Cardinals re-signed L.J. Collier and added three other defensive linemen in free agency \u2014 Roy Lopez, Jonah Williams and Andrew Billings.<\/p>\n

Calais Campbell has not come back. He was the Cardinals’ interior defender.<\/p>\n

They have used first-round picks on Darius Robinson and Walter Nolen. They need to produce.<\/p>\n

Draft need\/priority: Ideally, Round 3 or later. They can’t keep throwing assets at the position without a payoff. <\/p>\n
