Earlier this month, on March 7, 2026, news of Married at First Sight<\/a> bride Gia\u2019s Fleur\u2019s boyfriend<\/a>, who isn\u2019t her MAFS <\/a>husband Scott McCristal, invaded the internet after Daily Mail broke the story.<\/p>\n

This spoiler immediately shattered the \u201cpower couple\u201d facade that Gia<\/a> and Scott were parading around for the majority of the 2026 season. While the rest of the contestants were mostly committed to not spoiling the show for fans, it seems Gia was just too in love<\/a> to hold back her affection for her new beau in public.<\/p>\n

Gia\u2019s boyfriend<\/a>, Alan Wallace, is a former reality tv star, known for his stint on Stan\u2019s Love Triangle, a show made by the producers of Married at First Sight. <\/p>\n

So, what we\u2019re hearing is Gia has a type?<\/p>\n

Gia opened up to WHO about her relationship, revealing how Alan was the \u201cmanly<\/a>\u201d man she asked MAFS for all along, taking a savage stab at Scot in the process. <\/p>\n

Gia\u2019s dig at Scott as she gushes over new relationship with Alan<\/p>\n

When the news first broke, Gia told Daily Mail that \u201cnavigating the new relationship has been hard, which is why [she\u2019s] done minimal press because [she] can\u2019t keep pretending [she\u2019s] with Scott when [she\u2019s] so in love with Alan.\u201d<\/p>\n

However, since this news broke at the start of March, Gia has done more than \u201cminimal\u201d press about her relationship with Alan and her behaviour<\/a> on MAFS<\/a>. While she is yet to go onto Stan\u2019s After the Dinner Party show, a recent TikTok posted last week shows Gia also teasing that possibility. <\/p>\n

Gia not only spoke to WHO about how Alan compares to her MAFS husband<\/a>, Scott, but also about how her desire for a \u201cmanly\u201d partner who can provide (a topic that has come up a lot this season<\/a>) remains true.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe\u2019s what I asked for!\u201d Gia said to WHO when speaking about Alan. \u201cI said smart, tradie who will drink a beer and be manly.\u201d <\/p>\n

\u201cScott got Botox, didn\u2019t drink and worked in an office,\u201d she compared. \u201cAlso isn\u2019t the sharpest tool in the shed.\u201d<\/p>\n

A concern Gia raised about Scott at the end of the season was his inability to say he \u201cloved\u201d her. <\/p>\n

However, this was ot a problem for Alan, it would seem, making him an even more attractive option for the single mum. <\/p>\n

\u201cHe told me he loves me first,\u201d Gia tells us. \u201cAnd did it in a month.\u201d<\/p>\n

Who is Alan Wallace? <\/p>\n

Alan Wallace, 34, is a sparky (electrician) and former Love Triangle contestant who entered the show looking for love in 2023. However, Gia and Alan have more mutuals than reality tv. It was revealed that Alan used to date Scott\u2019s ex-partner, Abbey, who appeared in all the infamous photos Scott initially refused to delete after Gia discovered them this season. Talk about a small world!<\/p>\n

According to sources from Woman\u2019s Day, the pair met through a mutual friend while Gia was still filming in 2025 and became official on New Year\u2019s Eve with rumours that Gia and her daughter Willa have already moved into Alan\u2019s Melbourne home.<\/p>\n

It appears Gia and Scott\u2019s relationship was already over before she met Alan, proving that the cracks revealed on the show were older and deeper than they were revealed on the show. <\/p>\n

How did Scott react to the news? <\/p>\n

On March 18, 2026, Scott snapped back at Gia going rogue<\/a> with this spoiler as he attended Stan\u2019s After the Dinner Party<\/a> episode that week. <\/p>\n

\u201cAt the end of the day, I\u2019m just highly disappointed in what Gia\u2019s done,\u201d he shared on the couch. \u201cWe\u2019re away for three months, putting our lives on hold to try and fall in love and not spoil anything, and the fact that she\u2019s gone behind everyone\u2019s back\u2026 It\u2019s a disappointment.\u201d<\/p>\n

When asked about how he felt for Gia, Scott expressed that \u201cit brings emotions out of [him].\u201d <\/p>\n

\u201cI get upset cause I was so invested in her at the time,\u201d he said on the Stan show. \u201cAnd what everyone\u2019s seeing right now is so damn real.\u201d<\/p>\n

While Woman\u2019s Day was told that Scott has moved on and is happily living with his new partner in Queensland, only this week will reveal if the couple even make it all the way to final vows.<\/p>\n

Odds are\u2026unlikely.<\/p>\n
