Reform UK leader Nigel Farage appeared to gatecrash Derek Chisora\u2019s pre-fight media commitments ahead of his upcoming bout against former WBC heavyweight world champion Deontay Wilder.<\/p>\n

Last week, Farage caused major controversy<\/a> when he uploaded a video and several photographs of himself walking around Championship club Ipswich Town\u2019s Portman Road.<\/p>\n

This led to huge backlash from fans, which caused the club to release a statement before Ipswich chair and chief executive Mark Ashton apologised for \u201cany hurt, pain or distress\u201d caused by Farage\u2019s visit.<\/p>\n

Despite this, Farage has continued to place himself around influential sporting figures, with the Reform UK leader even gatecrashing Chisora\u2019s interview with The Guardian<\/a> ahead of his fight against Wilder, which is scheduled to take place at The O2 on 4 April.<\/p>\n

During the British veteran\u2019s interview with Donald McRae, Farage slipped into the room before shaking the boxer\u2019s hand.<\/p>\n

\u201cAre you busy?\u201d Farage asked McRae.<\/p>\n

\u201cYes, we are\u2026 but that\u2019s okay,\u201d the journalist replied.<\/p>\n

\u201cHow are you?\u201d Farage asked Chisora before the Londoner said things were \u201cgoing well\u201d.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe never stops, this bloke,\u201d Farage joked before the conversation switched to the politician\u2019s recent trip to the US.<\/p>\n

\u201cAmerica was good,\u201d the 61-year-old continued. \u201cIt was short, only there 30 hours, but it was all right and I\u2019ve been doing rallies and God knows what round the country. So it\u2019s all good, it\u2019s all good, it\u2019s all good. It\u2019s all good.\u201d<\/p>\n

The former UKIP leader then explained how he would be in attendance at what he claims will be Chisora\u2019s \u201clast professional fight\u201d against Wilder this Saturday.<\/p>\n

After Farage had exited, Chisora explained that he had met the Clacton MP several years earlier through a mutual friend.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe do so much together,\u201d the veteran boxer added.<\/p>\n

Attention then turned to American politics and US President Donald Trump.<\/p>\n

When asked whether he was still a Trump fan, having previously voiced support for the president, Chisora replied: \u201cI was a fan of Trump, but not this latest stuff [in Iran]. He stopped seven wars and started another one.\u201d<\/p>\n

He added: \u201cThe ones at the top are making money and the ones at the bottom are not. We\u2019ve got war in Europe, in the Middle East, in Africa. Nobody wins. Not us. People die, people are burying their kids.\u201d<\/p>\n
