In the show, a Weyland-Yutani spaceship crash-lands on the planet, bringing various dangerous alien species with it. So Wendy (Sydney Chandler), a synthetic robot with human consciousness, and her ragtag crew set off to capture them before they cause destruction. The sci-fi drama\u2019s ensemble also includes Timothy Olyphant, Essie Davis, Alex Lawther, Babou Ceesay, and Samuel Blenkin. The A.V. A mysterious note from him puts her on a collision course with the many dark secrets he\u2019s been keeping, including the real reason he abandoned his family 30 years ago.<\/p>\n The Rainmaker\u00a0(USA Network, Friday, 10 p.m.)<\/p>\n<\/p>\n John Grisham\u2019s novel, which was already adapted into a Francis Ford Coppola\u2019s 1997 movie, gets the small-screen treatment.
