Tenth through the first round with a score of 283, Western Carolina is in the clubhouse in a 10th-place tie midway through its second 18 holes.<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\nRound two is scheduled to resume at 7:15 a.m. MST \/ 10:15 a.m. EST on Wednesday, with the field moving directly into the final round upon its completion. Live scoring for each round is available\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/scoreboard.clippd.com\/tournaments\/239747\/scoring\/team\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">online through the Scoreboard app, powered by Clippd<\/a>.<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\nThrough 18 holes on Tuesday, the Catamount scoring five was paced by redshirt sophomore transfer <a href=\"https:\/\/catamountsports.com\/sports\/mens-golf\/roster\/tyler-jones\/14356\" rel=\"smarttag nofollow noopener\" rev=\"14356\" target=\"_blank\">Tyler Jones<\/a>, who posted his 12th seasonal round in the 60s with a 5-under par 67. The Jacksonville, N.C., product carded five birdies in a bogey-free round to sit tied for sixth in the loaded individual field.<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\nJunior <a href=\"https:\/\/catamountsports.com\/sports\/mens-golf\/roster\/jace-butcher\/14350\" rel=\"smarttag nofollow noopener\" rev=\"14350\" target=\"_blank\">Jace Butcher<\/a> was tied for 27th overall with his seventh-straight seasonal round carded at even-par 72-or-better, turning to the second round with a 2-under par 70. Butcher was tied for 27th, overcoming a double-bogey on his third hole of the day with five birdies over his next seven holes. A bogey on the par-3 17th left him at 2-under, where he played even over the final seven holes of his first round.<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\nSenior <a href=\"https:\/\/catamountsports.com\/sports\/mens-golf\/roster\/ivan-ninkovic\/14353\" rel=\"smarttag nofollow noopener\" rev=\"14353\" target=\"_blank\">Ivan Ninkovic<\/a> rebounded from a 3-over par start to the day, just six holes into his round, to record an even-par round of 72. He charted five birdies on the day, tied for 56th after the opening 18. Rounding out WCU&#8217;s scoring five are junior <a href=\"https:\/\/catamountsports.com\/sports\/mens-golf\/roster\/andrew-korytoski\/14351\" rel=\"smarttag nofollow noopener\" rev=\"14351\" target=\"_blank\">Andrew Korytoski<\/a> in a tie for 86th with a 2-over par 74, and freshman <a href=\"https:\/\/catamountsports.com\/sports\/mens-golf\/roster\/connor-williams\/14358\" rel=\"smarttag nofollow noopener\" rev=\"14358\" target=\"_blank\">Connor Williams<\/a> at 5-over par 77, tied for 111th.<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\nMidway through the second round, four of WCU&#8217;s five golfers have improved upon their standings, each with at least six holes remaining to finish to get through 36 complete.<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\nThrough 18 holes, No. 28 Southern California and Iowa State stood tied atop the team leaderboard with matching team scores of 272, a stroke ahead of No. 46 Arkansas State in third at 273.
