Olivarez was an absolute buzzsaw once again, putting on incredible pace and pressure as he wore both of his opponents down from top control. He choked out Julian Espinosa in the opening round, then won a decision against Deandre Corbe in the finals, getting dominant position and racking up a lot of ride time against both top notch grapplers.<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1nfb3k4i _16w9vov1 _16w9vov0 ls9zuh1\">Corbe impressed against Max Hanson in the opening round, and did have some good moments and nice attempts in the finals, but Olivarez\u2019s constant scrambling and top pressure was just too much.<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1nfb3k4i _16w9vov1 _16w9vov0 ls9zuh1\">With Gordon Ryan and John Danaher both in his corner, the Kingsway product in Olivarez won the WNO lightweight crown and continued his incredible run.
