Two premier hotels have been named as the State\u2019s best at this year\u2019s AHA Accommodation Awards for Excellence, beating the likes of Crown Perth and The Ritz-Carlton.<\/p>\n
The awards were held on Monday at the Devil\u2019s Lair Gala Ball at The Westin Perth, where WA\u2019s leading hotels were celebrated in front of more than 500 industry leaders and guests.<\/p>\n
The prestigious annual event recognises excellence and leadership in the management and operation of accommodation hotels across the State, highlighting the achievements of venues, teams, managers and individual staff.<\/p>\n
The major award winners of the night included The Westin, taking home WA\u2019s best metro accommodation hotel award and the Hilton Garden Inn Busselton, winning WA\u2019s best regional accommodation hotel award.<\/p>\n
Nathan Frost, vice president of operations for Accor Western Australia and Tasmania, was inducted into the Accommodation Industry Hall of Fame.<\/p>\n

AHA WA chief executive Bradley Woods said the awards, spanning more than 30 categories, showcase the professionalism, resilience and innovation within WA\u2019s accommodation sector.<\/p>\n
\u201cThese awards recognise the exceptional people and properties delivering world-class hospitality across our state,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
\u201cWestern Australia\u2019s accommodation sector is thriving, with Perth hotels achieving average occupancy rates well above the national average and visitor numbers across the State reaching record levels.<\/p>\n

Crown Towers Perth won the hotel management team award while The Ritz-Carlton Perth\u2019s bar Songbird took home the accommodation hotel bar award.<\/p>\n
