LeBron James continues to make the case that he is the greatest basketball player of all time.<\/p>\n

The all-time record he set on Tuesday night while playing for the Los Angeles Lakers<\/a> against his former Cleveland Cavaliers<\/a> is just one more notch in the GOAT argument for King James.<\/p>\n

This record: the most wins ever.<\/p>\n

LeBron has won more NBA games in the regular season and playoffs combined than anyone else ever.<\/p>\n

He entered the night tied with Kareem Abdul-Jabbar at 1,228 wins and counting. The King is now at 1,229.<\/p>\n

This is just one stat, and by itself maybe it wouldn’t make LeBron the greatest.<\/p>\n

But think about the rest of his feats, too, and the case gets more and more compelling.<\/p>\n

He’s the league’s all-time leading scorer, and he’s putting that mark in a place that it’ll be tough to ever catch. Mind you, James is known for his all-around game, not just for his scoring, yet nobody has scored more points than him.<\/p>\n

James ranks fourth all-time in assists, sixth all-time in steals and 23rd all-time in rebounds.<\/p>\n

He’s even sixth all-time in 3-pointers.<\/p>\n

And now no one has won more than James. This is a guy who made it to 10 consecutive NBA Finals. In an era when a different team keeps winning the title every year it seems, that’s quite astounding.<\/p>\n

Some will always argue for Michael Jordan, and that’s fine. But it’d be tough for LeBron to have made a better case than the one he has.<\/p>\n
