He\u2019s going to do a couple of fights and go box. \u2026 I think we\u2019re going to get Conor for one more fight. I think we\u2019re probably going to miss out on the trilogy. Sadly.\u201d<\/p>\n
Diaz is set to compete under MMA rules for the first time since 2022. He\u2019s scheduled to collide with fellow ex-UFC bruiser Mike Perry on the undercard of Ronda Rousey vs. Gina Carano on May 16. It\u2019ll be Diaz\u2019s first combat sports fight since 2024 when he defeated Jorge Masvidal in a boxing match.<\/p>\n
As for McGregor, he\u2019s been working on a UFC comeback fight. UFC CEO Dana White told reporters that while nothing is official, he isn\u2019t ruling out a possible July date for \u201cMystic Mac.\u201d<\/p>\n
