{"id":579800,"date":"2026-04-02T02:24:09","date_gmt":"2026-04-02T02:24:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/au\/579800\/"},"modified":"2026-04-02T02:24:09","modified_gmt":"2026-04-02T02:24:09","slug":"celtics-147-129-heat-apr-1-2026-game-recap","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/au\/579800\/","title":{"rendered":"Celtics 147-129 Heat (Apr 1, 2026) Game Recap"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>MIAMI &#8212; \u2014 <a href=\"http:\/\/www.espn.com\/nba\/player\/_\/id\/3917376\/jaylen-brown\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Jaylen Brown<\/a> scored 43 points, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.espn.com\/nba\/player\/_\/id\/4065648\/jayson-tatum\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Jayson Tatum<\/a> had his first triple-double of the season and the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.espn.com\/nba\/team\/_\/name\/bos\/boston-celtics\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Boston Celtics<\/a> rode the strength of a record-setting first quarter to beat the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.espn.com\/nba\/team\/_\/name\/mia\/miami-heat\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Miami Heat<\/a> 147-129 on Wednesday night.<\/p>\n<p>              Tatum finished with 25 points, 18 rebounds and 11 assists for Boston, which scored 53 points in the first quarter \u2014 a franchise record that tied the second-highest total for an opening quarter in NBA history. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.espn.com\/nba\/player\/_\/id\/4065804\/sam-hauser\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Sam Hauser<\/a> added 23 for the Celtics, who are 31-0 when scoring at least 117 points this season and are 10-1 in their last 11 games following a loss.<\/p>\n<p>              The Celtics led by as many as 27, then saw the lead trimmed to as little as nine early in the fourth quarter. Boston (51-25) holds the No. 2 spot in the Eastern Conference race, four games behind No. 1 Detroit.<\/p>\n<p>              <a href=\"http:\/\/www.espn.com\/nba\/player\/_\/id\/4066261\/bam-adebayo\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Bam Adebayo<\/a> had 29 points and 10 rebounds for Miami, which tied a franchise record by hitting 24 3-pointers. The Heat made 24 on three other occasions.<\/p>\n<p>              <a href=\"http:\/\/www.espn.com\/nba\/player\/_\/id\/4278053\/davion-mitchell\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Davion Mitchell<\/a> scored 21, while <a href=\"http:\/\/www.espn.com\/nba\/player\/_\/id\/4395725\/tyler-herro\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Tyler Herro<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.espn.com\/nba\/player\/_\/id\/4601025\/pelle-larsson\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Pelle Larsson<\/a> each scored 18 and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.espn.com\/nba\/player\/_\/id\/4432848\/jaime-jaquez-jr\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Jaime Jaquez Jr<\/a>. added 17 for the Heat (40-37).<\/p>\n<p>              Miami remained in the No. 10 spot in the East play-in race.
