Monetary policy isn’t the best way to address a supply-side shock and hiking rates won’t have any meaningful impact on fuel prices, outside of impacting the exchange rate.”

Read related topics:Reserve Bank

Businesses hiring needs are on the rise, but the labour market remains too tight for the Reserve Bank,…

[11
1724,64,63,689,169,31006,99,284452,284449,115815,14821,9567,222041,96277,164,81070,284448,98767,130870,284447,284451,270292,5626,5575,6897,168,34212,284453,34096,284450,12072,145228,3354,115817,677,284454,14824,16776,284455,12540,234697,12000,3439
post-580251","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","category-economy","tag-asia","tag-au","tag-australia","tag-australia-and-new-zealand","tag-australian-bureau-of-statistics","tag-basis-points","tag-business","tag-businesses-hiring-needs","tag-callam-pickering","tag-cameron-micallef","tag-cash-rate","tag-central-bank","tag-construction-sector","tag-construction-worker","tag-economy","tag-exchange-rate","tag-food-services-industries","tag-fuel-crisis","tag-fuel-prices","tag-fuel-state","tag-hiking-rates","tag-interest-rate-pain","tag-interest-rates","tag-iran","tag-israel","tag-job-market","tag-job-vacancies","tag-jobs-vacancies","tag-labour-market","tag-labour-market-data","tag-labour-party","tag-market-conditions","tag-news-headlines","tag-newswire-business","tag-oceania","tag-rate-pain","tag-rba-board","tag-reserve-bank","tag-retail-trade","tag-southern-asia","tag-territory-leaders","tag-western-asia","tag-western-australia
["GET
