The car has been entered under the DRS Racing banner, with drivers David Worrel, Richard Luff and Scott Walker.<\/p>\n

The trio will compete in the B1 class for high performance forced induction cars.<\/p>\n

The Kia Stinger is powered by a 3.3-litre, twin-turbocharged V6. In production trim, the car makes 272kW (365hp) and 510Nm of torque.<\/p>\n

The car has retained its eight-speed gearbox, which will be put to the test by Mount Panorama.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019ve got modest expectations for this year, to be honest; it\u2019s a brand new car, and Mt Panorama has its own ways of exposing weaknesses,\u201d said Worrell at the launch of the car.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019re in it to finish, and we\u2019re there to have a good time with a bunch of great mates who\u2019ve helped with the build along the way.<\/p>\n

\u201cHonestly, I can\u2019t wait to send it up the hill.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s got a lot of power and torque, which is what you need up and down The Mountain, and it should be pretty easy to drive fast over six hours.\u201d<\/p>\n

The team has been backed by Bathurst businessman Shane Fowler of Shane\u2019s Signs and dressed in a bright green livery, making it an unmissable entry.<\/p>\n
