Jayson Tatum is back for the Boston Celtics<\/a>, and he is performing well considering he tore his Achilles tendon less than a year ago. He had arguably his best performance since his return, as he had a 25-point, 18-rebound, and 11-assist triple-double against the Miami Heat<\/a> on Wednesday.<\/p>\n

As one of Tatum’s oldest friends, Bam Adebayo was impressed with what he saw from the Celtics<\/a> forward. However, it seems Adebayo is still unconvinced about Tatum’s health because he does not feel at his best just yet from the multi-time All-Star.<\/p>\n

Adebayo gets honest about Tatum not being in shape just yet<\/p>\n

The Heat<\/a> are not doing well at the moment as they have fallen to the 10th seed in the Eastern Conference. Of course, they are not in trouble of bouncing out of the Play-In Tournament, but their latest loss to the Celtics is a big blow to the team’s morale.<\/p>\n

Considering the Celtics have not been healthy this season, the fact that they have won 50+ games continues to be an amazing achievement. They have done so without Tatum for the majority of the season, and he is coming off an Achilles tendon tear.<\/p>\n

As one of Tatum’s oldest friends, Adebayo is obviously disappointed about the Heat losing another game. However, he is glad to see that Tatum is back and firing on all cylinders. Of course, Adebayo still thinks that his friend is not back to his best just yet, though.<\/p>\n

“I can tell he\u2019s still out of shape, but when you consider somebody like that your brother. We\u2019ve known each other since we were like 12. You see what he\u2019s gone through. You\u2019re proud of him for pushing through it\u2026 You tip your hat off to somebody who\u2019s been through that and still try to play,” Adebayo said after the Heat’s game against the Celtics on Wednesday<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Of course, the Heat will continue to embark on this tough journey toward the Play-In. It is a tough path because it feels like they are limping toward the finish line this time around. This result against the Celtics could be a catalyst for them, as it could be the motivation they need for the rest of the regular season.<\/p>\n
